"...Jack had no gun. Which means Jackson's likely in a mess. Now..." At the mention of Jackson's name I run as fast as I dare in the direction of the horses, not waiting to hear what else was said.

"Chapl--" Cedric almost says as he reaches out just too late to catch the preacher - what with the whole splitting up bit just being said. He wipes his eyes again and begins to dash off after the man. He mutters something quietly as he darts off, though it isn't clear whether it's yet another short stream of curse-words or an announcement of his departure... probably the former.

Sean ignores the departing pair, he appreciates help but he is quite willing to do what needs to be done all by himself.  He advances upon the figure that he spotted.

Trusting that the military man is capable enough to help Jackson and the preacher Frank keeps advancing towards the figure ahead.

"Wh--I said it ain't a great plan!" Snarling, Bones moves after Frank and his new acquaintance, wishing dearly for a pull at his flask.

Zeke & Cedric
You make it out to where the horses were left to find Jackson crouched behind a brush with his gun pointed directly towards you.  He slowly stands up from his spot of concealment.  "Nearly shot ya when I heard you runnin' this way.  Our friend's out here somewhere, but the bastard's using the darkness to his advantage..."

You hear a sudden burst of movement off to the right and the Spring Heeled Jack charges into view, slashing at Cedric with his claws.

Cedric, you feel a ripping sensation as his claws pass through the skin on your shoulder.  Blood begins to run down your arm.
Those attempting to follow the Jack can make checks to attempt to find him.  Spot, Listen, or Survival (if you have the Track feat) are all appropriate)

Frank tries his best to find any signs or tracks of Jack as he makes his way through the building.

Use an action point to further boost my Survival check: 2 for a total of 15.
"Agh! Son of a bitch! That hurt!" The former soldier whirls about and brings the butt of his rifle across, hoping to crash it into the demon's skull.
This is assuming I can retaliate without first rolling initiative. If I can't, I'll attach an initiative roll to this post in addition to attack and damage.
Attack Roll: 1d20+6=20
Damage Roll: 1d6+4=8
Initiative: 1d20+2=17
Oh, and did we start playing blind HP, or was the cut not deep enough for HP damage?
Frank, Sean & Bones
Your eyes are peeled, Frank's on the ground looking for tracks, Sean's and Bones' on the surrounding area when a loud THUD is heard as the fiend literally falls from the sky right next to you.  He lets out a bone chilling laugh accompanied by a burst of blue flames from his mouth.

Hooray for reflex saves!  :D
Oh, and Initiative rolls, please.

Cedric & Zeke
The Jack laughs as Cedric flinches in pain from the shoulder wound and turns to face Jackson.  "You really thought you were tracking me?  I'm going to use your blood to paint the desert red!"

The Jumping Jack suddenly leaps forward and tackles Jackson to the ground, rolling in the dirt as they fight.

I assume this is Cedric's action for the round.
Bones, Frank & Sean
The three of you are engulfed in flames.  The searing heat takes your breath away for a moment.  The edges of your clothing begin to catch.
Please make another reflex save to avoid catching on fire. (this will cost a move action)
The leering madman's laughter intensifies as he disappears into the darkness again.

Yelling obscenities, the doctor drops to the ground, rolling in the dust to smother the flames licking at his clothes.
Reflex save to extinguish fire: (1d20+3+4=23)
