Cedric looks for a ladder, rope, something to help him reach the roof without having to run through fire. "Someone try to get this guy's attention! I'll start climbing incase he can't get out on his own!"

"Hey! You up there! Is someone hurt?" calls Bones, running close to the window, heedless of the ashes landing on his fastidiously kept clothing.

Zeke & Cedric
You see, through sections of wall that have burned clean through, a dark figure moving about on the upper floor of the burning building.  The surrounding area is too dark in contrast to the firelight to see more than a few yards.
From out in the darkness somewhere a familiar sounding burst of laughter echoes around you.

"Shit" I muttered under my breath. "We're about to have trouble! Our friend 'Jack' is out there--" I call to the others just in case they'd missed the cackle under the sound of the roaring blaze.
Is the figure inside prone? Does he looked trapped by the flames? Can I see any sort of way to get to him?
Zeke
He's rushing around, apparently looking for a way out without breaking his legs.  Aside from going through the flames, there's no safe way in that you can see.
Spotting a section of wall that looks like it could give away with the right amount of effort, I rush towards it. "I need help-- We need to make an opening! Someone help me bust through!"

I kicked at the wall with my booted feet as I covered my face with the sleeve of my coat to protect me from burning embers. I wasn't the strongest man by any means, but I couldn't allow a man to roast alive. I just couldn't. I just hoped that I wouldn't be alone... I didn't know if the wall would give with just my attempt alone--

"Make room, preacher!" Cedric shouts while rushing up to the same part of the structure. He quickly brings his boot up and kicks into the fragile wall.

The two of you manage to kick a sizable hole in a half-way burned wall.  The superheated air inside rushes out to meet you and singes your face.  Your eyes feel like they're going to dry up and wither away.  Inside you can see more flames.  The bar, the tables, the stairs, even the ceiling is covered with hungry orange flames.  Standing at the top of the burning stairs is a man wearing dark clothing, a bandana is tied around his mouth and nose.

Frank rushes in after the others, using a hankerchief to avoid breathing in any smoke. He tries to find out where the person they noticed earlier was, but the smoke and the sound of burning wood were hindering his senses too much.

The man at the top of the stairs notices the people rushing in and immediately lets out a silent prayer of thanks.  He then makes a rush for the opening, motioning for the people to get outside and out of his way, not wanting to waste any breath and risk breathing more smoke than he already has.

Frank rushes into the room just as the other two turn around to rush out.  A man standing at the top of the stairs prepares to make the drop down to the ground floor...

Sean - jump check to come down from the balcony, please.

As Sean tries to drop lightly to the dusty wooden floor, he clips the edge of a table on the way down landing nearly flat on his back with a wheeze as the wind is knocked out of him.
