They basically store a spell of 6th level or higher. At least, thats what the book says. Higher. Most people assume they mean 6th or lower.
Yeah, it is a pretty obvious typo.
Even correcting that, they're pretty damned strong, but maybe not broken. They work like Glyph of Warding, but remove the "harmful" restriction from the normal Glyph of Warding spell, and replace the 200 gp cost per casting with a flat 1000 gp cost for the lesser Glyph Seal (up to 2nd level spells) or 4000 gp for the greater one (5th level and above/below, I think).
So basically you can store spells in them and trigger them as free action buffs later. And the duration is "permanent until discharged", so you can fill them during downtime.
So how are we doing these Glyph Seals? I'm thinking of buying some.
The Greater Glyph of Warding
spell works with 6th level and lower spells.
These crazy things could be used to target other people with personal spells the way they're written, and for "storing" buffs on your off days to basically get more spell slots.
Also, did you say you'd allow a Bone creature (BoVD) for +1LA? I might use Substitute Domain, and make a Contingent Create Undead on myself to turn myself into one, if so. (Assuming some domain with Contingency is available from our "deity".)
Sorry I keep asking stupid questions, but I'm bored and ready to go, and can't help tweaking things.
