I think I'm done with my spell selection, unless someone has suggestions.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

Anyone got suggestions for Bard Spells? I'm open to recommendations.
Witty sayings? Nah, not right now. Currently playing Dwarf Fortress and League of Legends. I really recommend League of Legends.

Summon Instrument... then you can summon colossal pianos to act as BFC. :D

More seriously, Grease and Alter Self are both awesome, as is Mirror Image. I think I have Silent Image covered, and Sam has Glitterdust. Tasha's Hideous Laughter is great when it works, but limited.

I was planning on fixing that, actually. As soon as I get time to actually throw it all onto myth-weavers, you'll see it.

So, what are we gonna do? Illusory tree or real tree on the river?

I'd prefer real trees.

I wonder if some kind of summon would help in moving the tree... does anyone have anything that might last long enough to be of assistance?

Well an astral construct from zion could probly last long enough, it's pretty strong.  YOu only need a couple of seconds of heavy lifting, if everyone is helping with maneuverability and you have two muscle bound people to carry the weight.

....

I feel like i'm railroading :(

Nah, I was going to suggest the same thing as soon as I finished eating my lunch. :P I think they can also just drag the tree, which is a lot easier. You can drag up to 5x your max load. For a beefy astral construct, that's probably a lot... He can't quite get the 5th level construct (which is large sized), but even the 4th level medium one has Str 25 (or 29 with the Extra Muscle menu option).

That's 1,400 x 5 lbs it can drag...

Ok, I assumed it wouldn't be around long enough to help.

Apparently not...

I'm trying extrememly hard to shift my guy to a more musically focused bard, but I can never seem to find the time.

I need like 4 hours in a day, with nothing else to do. Hopefully it'll come up next week some time, and if so, I'll probably get a lil' stronger. Also Charismatic.

What exactly do you mean by "music focused"? I could offer a few suggestions, if you mean just boosting Inspire Courage.

Take the spell Inspirational Boost (SC), the feat Song of the Heart (EbCS), and get the Badge of Valor (MiC, one of the item sets). I think that boosts your IC bonus by +3 overall, to give you a +4 total. It is tricky figuring out how to use the spell and the item together, though. You have to cast the spell during your turn, and then activate the item immediately after your turn ends.

I think you can exchange one of your bardic abilities to get Song of the Heart as a substitute, also.

I'd say you don't need Silent Image as a spell known, since both Sam and Cecil can cast it spontaneously.

Its more because I can't find the time to do it, rather than not knowing what I want to do.

Heck, if you felt like taking a more ... draconic... approach, i know that dragonfire inspiration on a bard can become a vast damage output for them.

Suddenly your ray of frost spell is incredibly deadly, as it deals 1d3 cold + 3d6 fire.
