Well count me in! I'll start building a character pronto.

Edit: What kinds of roles are already filled? What are we lacking in?
I've got a TWF pouncing blender, bowen has a shaper, generic has a soulbow archer, Head is possibly a dracolich, whatever that is, and Flay is a cleric of some sort. So I think we are low on BC, not sure what else.

Battlefield control, eh? Hmmm. I can do that....
OOC-well for that matter he could just ride on my sword, that's about 15' ;)
OOC - That's what SHE said!  But, otherwise, that works for me, if you guys are willing.

Good, I can assist you at that somewhat if necessary, I think :)

I think I'm officially closing recruitment with you 5/6, Head of Vecna has been absent a while.

Look for a forum soon.

Cool :)

I've got a basic sheet done, just need to decide on some Powers and most of my equipment.

I still need an answer about getting some degree of LA reduction. Actually I'd need a serious reduction to make the concept playable. Without it I'd be looking at a 5HD wyrmling with +7 LA. He'd technically be level 6, but would gain no benefit from the last level due to the peculiarities of dragon PC advancement. I mentioned the concept was non-optimized right? If the LA was knocked all the way down to +3 I'd be able to take a 9HD young dragon with a single class level. At that point he'd still probably lag behind the other PCs in most respects (HP, versatility, possibly damage output) but he'd force a lot of saves against anything not immune to paralysis.

Okay, so looking at Dracolich, I am reminded that Dragon PCs make no sense.

So I present: The Dragon Class:

Dragon
"I am a motherfucking Dragon."

Your Race is Dragon, Your class is Dragon. You are a motherfucking Dragon.

All your levels are in Dragon. You are a Dragon.

1) You have a HD equal to your ECL -3. These are badass dragon HD, all good saves, good BAB, 8+Int skills.
2) You have a breath weapon that does 1d6 damage per HD, and you use it every 1d4 rounds. DC is like all DCs. 10 + Stat +1/2 level.
3) You have spells per day/known like a Sorcerer equal to your HD -3 (or ECL -6). Your CL is equal to HD. (include crazy domains for Fang Dragon)
4) You can motherfucking fly. It's like a Dragon of your size.
5) You get more attacks like your Dragon does, based on HD.
6) You get the size of the dragon size you are based on HD. You get the stat changes for size change, which are none, because in this case you are medium.
7) You get no ability mods other than that except +2 Con, +2 Cha. PB yourself like except only use 34 PB because you are so Charisma SAD.
8) You get SLAs and weird abilities based on ECL. CL equals ECL. On the Fang Dragon chart, you are at Dispel Magic
9) You get Natural Armor like a Dragon of your HD.
10) You get Spell Resistance equal to your ECL+10.
11) Keep in Mind, you are a Dragon, so you can take all those crazy Dragon feats.

Fang dragon modification:
You have all that Fang Dragon shit as your Dragon special abilities. You have no breath weapon, like a Fang Dragon, you do the Con damage like a Fang Dragon.

Dracolich modification:
You lose Con to HP. You have crappy HP. It's okay, you have a Phylactery.
You get all that other Dracolich shit, including +2 to Cha. You don't get a change to Spell Resistance.

Pretty good like: "That's so sweet I'd take that over what I'm making now because it's awesome."

Or: "That's really well balanced against D&D in general and the other characters in this game in particular."

?
