It is a bit of a drawback, but not a terrible one. There's an edge that lets you operate somewhat during the day. Still have to avoid daylight though. ;)  Overall, it's doable.

If two of you want to work on a triumvirate and no one wants to play a vamp, I'll work with you on that :)  I'm open to whatever you guys want to work on.

Robes don't cover the entire body. Sun hits you and BAM fire. Same with the umbrella. They don't offer that much sun protections :P

Hmm. I wonder what ~30% of Earth's population does when it's bright out?

I don't think there's quite that many vamps in the game. China does have a gazillion and two people. :P

I mean, complete Mummy bandages, with sunglasses, in a massive robe, under an umbrella.

A titanium umbrella enchanted with darkness spells.

Well if a Vampire is...whatever they call Insubstantial in this game, s/he would have no skin to be burned.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

Thus, find a power that gives you a gaseous form and you're safe?

You could probably find a power in a savage worlds book that does it...

Oh there's a Necessary Evil power that makes you insubstantial. But short of D&D, I have no idea where the "turn to mist" myth comes from. It makes no sense, and doesn't fit the vampire mythos of this world, so Vamp's don't get that option. ;)

It IS possible to clothe yourself so that no sunlight touches your skin.

It might deal less damage then(2d6?), and usually only hurt you on a Raise. (meaning you'd stagger every now and again as you try to remove Shaken, and risking it for minutes at a time is asking to catch fire just from bad luck alone)
The whole super-conspicuous thing is also SO not an issue in a world where your average person probably doesn't like Vampires, and some of them know the right phone numbers to call...

Thats what I meant by the above, the robes and umbrella are backups, in case your wrappings get torn up in combat in places, you don't instantly ashify.
