The title page reads "Hitchhiker's Guide To Adventuring", as you flip through it, you begin to realize that despite appearing to only have about 300 pages, the book seems to be infinite

Are we ready to head back to Lilk? Joel the Psion asks, looking around to make sure everyone has caught up before beginning the trek.

Is ready to go at any time, but in the mean time will be looking up any information on these Goblins or Jillhorn and Lilk, anything relevant to the current venture.

OOC: Sorry about the delay, executive functioning was on the fritz for a while

It takes you about a day or so to get back to Lilk. When you arrive, the town seems to be on fire, with lots and lots of goblins running about

Kismet is oddly quiet for a halfling on the way back to Lilk, deep in thought. "Hmm. Serves Jillhorn right, for being evasive and not wanting to see us." Kismet looks truely worried as he sits atop Nietzsche, and his tone betrays his worry, despite his attempt to cover it with sarcasm. "Should we go... save someone, or something? You know, heroic things, like we're supposed to be doing? Ultimately, I just want to get this inanity done with."
Witty sayings? Nah, not right now. Currently playing Dwarf Fortress and League of Legends. I really recommend League of Legends.

I think the rescuing thing is in order. As it is, we aren't getting paid for getting a peace treaty signed, so we may as well make what money we can.

With that, Thas clenches his fists momentarily, then uncleches them. When they unclench, the tips of his fingers resemble brutal claws, having extended to the length and sharpness of knives. (Manifest Claws of the Beast, 5pp. 2d6 base damage after INA, plus 3. 18PP left.)

YAY! I get to go to the SPECIAL hell!

Guides Daitarn with her legs as she remains alert in the saddle for any kind of danger or intruige in the lands surrounding. It wouldn't surprise her that any of the parties involved might want to rid themselves of a nuisance adventuring group poking around.

For the time being the Druid utters an unusual incantation, of a different ilk than the usual Druidic chants. Both her and her companion become bathed in heavenly light, radiating Daylight as per the spell. [Extended Luminous Armour]

"If our objective were peace, Jillhorn appears to be the cause of the current chaos." While she infers her possible solution, she doesn't go so far as to actually suggest it, rather leaving it to the party to come to some kind of conclusion on what they might do. It didn't particularly affect the woods after all... it was a problem for the city-dwellers at this point and as such was worth considerably less of her time.

Joel the Psion nods silently as a dull white light begins to encase his body.  He moves to the back of the group, following twenty feet behind them if they approach the city, seeming to stare at the ground in front of him with his hands behind his back, a sage lost in thought.

So, do we rescue the humans, or the goblins? Valid question I think.

"I tried that. It's funny, how I wanted to speak to Jillhorn first, and now we're back here. Anyway, Jillhorn is probably still behind the gate of city hall."

So Jillhorn first, then some rescuing around the town here. Sounds like a hell of a time.

Pun not intended.

Proceeding as far as she possibly can without breaking any kind of obvious laws, Caoimhe rides Daitarn until presumably questioned by the town hall guards as to the purpose of the parties visit.

Irrespective of their line of questioning, the response is almost certainly that they are there to see Jillhorn and that it should be immediately.

What guards? Well, you find a few guards, but they're either on fire, cut in half, or both. Spot checks please.

Puts her ears to the wind, listening out for any hints of continued bloodshed, trying to seek out a place where her presense might be needed more immediately than for providing burial rites.

Joel glances up from his place behind the others just for a second.

As they move, Thas intently watches the area around them, looking for threats. It just won't do to be snuck up on in this chaos.

from atop Nietzsche, Kismet is stunned by the violence. "This is an extreme act, isn't it. Apparently the Jaka got a little mad." He surveys the area.

There is a yelp from next to the building as a hiding goblin trips into the street, before quickly getting up as five more join him.

Seeing the goblins, Thas adopts a stance and braces for the goblins attack. He flexes his clawed hands once then says, "Alright, time for a workout."
