I was looking around racially and i've never played an aasimar.  Now, If i get in, would it be acceptable to play an aasimar with lesser planetouched from players guide to faerun page 192?  It basically makes the character count as human for spells as charm person and the like but still get affected by banishment.  It lowers the LA to +0.

Going to focus a lot on White Raven and Iron Heart stuff... and question: if I use a charge maneuver (such as Charging Minotaur), can I use the Heedless Charge option from Shock Trooper?

I'm thinking I would play a Dragon-wrought Kobold Factotem. thinking I would lean twords use magic device for skills and use wands for spells/healing

Did anybody get missed at all? Still no clerics? Ouch. Now this isn't definitive by any means. I'm just wanting to see "on paper" what we're looking at so far.

Also, just because I'm running it doesn't make me the main "policy writer". What sort of things would you guys like to see in this game?

Actually, A Cleric sounds kinda fun to play now that you mention it.  I'd still be able to be Aasimar, and i could work towards Radiant servant of Pelor Lathander.  Good healing and turning.

I would like to throw my name in the hat as a cleric. I've wanted to play a cleric for a while. Thinking maybe Radiant Servent of Pelor (or another Deity...)/Contemplative. Either that or Cloistered Cleric/a couple levels of Seeker of the Misty Isle/Contemplative.

There might be ONE combat in the entire game, and that'll be against an Ancient Red Dragon while you're still 3rd level.
Only one puzzle...trying to open a pill bottle.

And in my game, there is no gods, only Zuul...mwahahahahahahahaaha.

A couple of minor things I forgot to mention that I should put up now.

Firstly, I don't think any evil characters will work for this game. If you do indeed have aspirations for an evil character, have no fear though. There will be plenty of opportunity to play something of evilness. Just not when we start.

Secondly, I am in fact going to be using a version of the taint rules found in HoH. This will be something under my direct control. I'm not telling you exactly when or how they'll begin to happen, but you will notice the hints as the game wears on.

I'm pleased to see so many clerics applying. This will make the decision difficult. As I said before, if you're not picked, don't take it personal. Sometimes, it simply boils down to just making a decision. And besides, I'll be keeping a list of those who aren't picked and you'll be given first priority to fill open slots for dropouts and such.

Anyway, the decision will be made Monday and we'll continue from there... mwahahahaha (yes, evil laugh again).

I'm running Castle Ravenloft for my live group right now, and I'd love to play through it (I can play dumb, promise!)

Initial thoughts are Human Crusader, Human Archivist, or a Killoren Arcane Heirophant.  I'll sort out my thoughts on what to play sometime tonight or tomorrow, and make a specific choice.  Everybody else want to see one of the above in particular?

Edit:  Question for Cindel,  If I were to go the Arcane Heirophant route, what are your feelings concerning the Focuses Specialist Wizard ACF/Precocious Apprentice "trick" for entering Arcane Heirophant/Mystic Theurge as a Wizard 1/Druid 3?

Right now I'm leaning toward Wiz 1/Druid 3/Mystic Theurge 4/Arcane Hierophant 10/MT 2 (if that is allowed); or possibly Wiz 1/Druid 6/Arcane Hierophant 10
[feats: Precocious Apprentice, Killoren Ancient, Companion Spellbond, possibly Touch of Healing if the group needs it]

I had made this character for a live game once before, but things didn't work out.

But, I'd also be interested in trying a Crusader.

If I were to play a Ruby Knight Vindicator, what FR Deity should it be associated with?  I would build the RKV crusader-heavy, and thus would be somewhat more like a Paladin, but would have at minimum 9 cleric caster levels by level 15.
