tl;dr - Diplomancer/Blaster, can Purify spells to protect good party members what good party members? (or use that spellguard ring). Can use detect evil at will. Provides a +5 circumstance bonus on Cha-based checks to party members within 60ft. Mount is capable of high-speed flight, and large enough to carry multiple characters. Oh, and it has blindsense.

Background
Riugonth Maartel was trained as a warmage in Arcanix, but was too late to serve in the Last War. Was sent on a diplomatic mission to Valenar a number of years ago and became stranded in the Blade Desert for a while - this was when he learned sand magic in a mysterious ruin. Carries a Valenar scimitar and always wears gloves. Can be a bit of a show-off.

Tall and Lanky, especially for a shifter, Benin walks with a confident air, supplemented by the squat, muscular badger with a mouth full of very sharp teeth by his side. He uses his badger as a judge of character, and often will only respond to direct interaction if the badger relaxes when it is approached. Gaining the badgers trust or proving that you are good with animals is a good way to befriend Benin, who probably cares more about the badger than himself.

Benin is a quiet soul. He isn't exactly abrasive or annoying, although he does avoid talking as much as possible. He prefers the company of animals to people, and is never far away from his perpetual companion, Rolin, a dire badger. Benin is quick to anger, and often manifests his more animalistic side, especially when things he appreciates are in danger. On the other hand, Benin is also quick to forgive, often completely forgetting about things that may seems very serious. He often has mood changes, and is very instinctual. He doesn't really worry about a larger scheme of things, instead acting naturally based on gut reactions.

This gnome looks just like any average gnome, though perhaps a bit shorter, thinner, and paler. His face lacks distinguishing features as his head lacks hair, and one can easily forget he is even present if he is not somehow making his presence known. What distinguishes him most from your average gnome is the color palette: His skin, eyes, and clothes are almost uniformly gray.

The gnome's name is unkown to all but himself, and he simply ignores any question that amounts to an inquiry about his origins or identity. He prefers to be called by nicknames that others make up. Relatedly, he revels in his ability to gather all kinds of informations he shouldn't know while keeping all about himself a secret.
While he is known to kill, maim, or destroy things or persons for little apparent reason other than "he can", the gnome possesses a strange kind of honor that makes him avoid harming small groups of specific individuals, which one might call his "friends". Neither does he just blindly kill people that might be useful in the future, or whose death might prove impractical.
The gnome is especially fond of chess, and he often carves intricate chess pieces from the bones of dead creatures, near-perfect miniatures of the specific creature they were made from. He has amassed a small collection of these, each one unique. While crafting his chess pieces, the gnome is given to humming macabre or just strange songs that children might be found singing.
