It means elephant man in Swahili.  :D

Cause Im sure the Africans would get first crack at naming the cloud critters

The third picture is like a coastal plant that eats fish and octopi and things.

the first creature looks like an ogre does in most fantasy games, so that would probably be it's more common or slang name.

the second creature is the one im thinking about. ill have somethin later.
Witty sayings? Nah, not right now. Currently playing Dwarf Fortress and League of Legends. I really recommend League of Legends.

They would get first shot... What's left of them, anyways. ;)

I'm thinking the plant should be transient. Possibly amphibious.

Yeah, the first does look somewhat like an ogre, but we can spin that better. ;)

The tree is an amphibious being that samples the DNA of native wildlife, and experiments upon them by altering it.   Since it cannot go inland the ogre like beings do instead.  Despite being lumbering lumps of muscle and bone, thy have some sort of life sense that makes surprising them nigh impossible, and also makes it easy for them to track any being they have met.  They kidnap local land beings to drag back to the tree, and act as its guards as well.

Their purpose?

Terraforming the local wildlife  :plotting

I just totally pictured that tree jumping on the ogre's back and power it up, ala any giant mecha anime. :P

The Creeper could be a genetically altered local primate critter intended to s4erve as food for the cloudbeasts, but now more dangerous to indigenous life than it was before :D

Gaborchend are a race of goat headed humans who are supposed to have died out in the wars between the Fir Bolg and the Tuatha De Daanan (although the name may also be an insulting name fro the Fomorians).  But there are many half men half goat critters in celtic myth.

Were-GOats  :smirk

You simply must try this  :D

"Save us Jesus, it's nibbling on our trousers!"

Shall I send more pics?

Okay, I started working on the stats for the Vigean Zeppelid. I figure it's in the size category of orcas and T-rexes. Sound good?

I figure it's relatively slow moving, but can sprint a bit, like some kind of ox or something. Can use its tail to hit or gnaw with giant ass teeth. Possibly swallowing whole. Any other ideas?

Hey AC what were te names of the 2 pics you chose?

Witches On the Isle of Man it was believed witches could become Hares, and if you shot the hare with a bullte made from a silver sixpence the hare would disappear, and whoever the witch was would be found dead in her bed in town.

Were bunnies  :D

I can almost see this now:

"HEY! Are you four drunken butt darts adventurers?  Ah needs someone to keep the Witch Bunnehs outta mah gardens.  Do you take payment in hawgs and cabberges?  Ah'm a lil short on gold raght now."

From what I understand, that's actually where the myth about taking town a werewolf with a silver bullet comes from...So don't put all your faith in that silver shot next full moon, AC.

Myth? Sure. :eh
I've taken down your kind before. Silver works wonders on slowing you down, but fire's where it really gets fun.

Okay the Bedhands monster is prolly a warped fey or something.  What shall it's purpose be?  Kidnapping for genetic experimentation?  Kidnapping for food?

Depends on what it is, I'd suppose.  Everyone has monster under the bed stories, but now I'm wondering where they come from. Time to research that mythos. :D
