How Can I Get A Cohort Demon With Fiend of Possession Level's?

I don't remember off hand if there are any Demons listed in the DMG's Leadership special Cohort related tables / texts.
If any demon has an LA you can use it.
If not, you'll have to convert a demon into something like what the dmg lists.

You get the demon at level 6 or 9 or whatever.
It is the "level" it is, whether legit or houseruled.
Then it gets to gain levels (a little slower than you).
That's when it takes Fiend of Possession class levels.

'nother houserule possibility ...
count a Tiefling as a Demon.

Further afield, just charm/dominate/thrall the demon, PAO it into the sword, might wanna hit it with a Feeblemind,
just so the Ego score is a bit lower.

Well there is a type of demon that IS a possessed sword.

It's of that third "Rare demon-type" from the abyss. God knows where I'm remebering it from. I believe it was a web article on the WoTC site.

A simple planar binding will get you that.

Check the link in my sig. Getting a dvati to qualify for FoP is extra fun, since it has two bodies and can possess two things at once.

How about Divine Minion of Sebek? +1LA, Outsider (Evil) type.

It has been brought to my attention that divine minion only changes existing alignment subtypes, rather than adding them. Disregard this post.

Pointing something else out: Get a dvati pair to possess two characters using the "controller" role. Cast a personal-range spell. It now affects both hosts. :D
