I'm seeing a potential problem witht he frostrager build. Wouldn't, by RAW, the character's unarmed damage actually decrease in a frostrage? Frostrage says "[the Frost rager's] unarmed attacks deal 1dX damage, plus 1dX cold damage". Nowhere does it mention that this change stacks with, or is even overridden by, a higher base US base damage. Unless, naturally, I'm blind, which I find unlikely.

Somewhere on 339 is a debate about that where I basically said that I'm assuming the DM will let it stack in the same way that Fist of the Forest does.  Yes, it's a potential problem.

I'll start digging around for a PrC to replace it.

Random update:

Tried making a Werebadger Lord build using Frenzied Berserker and concluded that it was a headache waiting to happen and there just aren't enough feat slots to do it effectively.  Would be awesome in gestalt though.

Can't come up with a better PrC than Frostrager for the Frozen Brawler build.  It's obviously a theme build and nothing seems to fit the theme.

@ Nanshork:
What was the theme of the Frozen Brawler?
If it was "cold Damage", simply make him a Frostblood Half-Orc and take the ACF "Draconic Fist"(both from Dragon Magic)

As for the 5 open Levels, I suggest as replacement:
Paladin 2(1st Half Orc Sub-Level from RoD)/ Deepwarden +3
or
Monk +2/Paladin 3(1st and 3rd Half Orc Sub-Levels from RoD)
or
Monk +1/Paladin 2(1st Half Orc Sub-Level from RoD)/ Swordsage 2

Why?
You're "any Lawful", make that LG and get:
- Full BaB, d10 Hitdie
- another Rage(Righteous Fury, replaces Smite)
- some Healing and perhaps Aura of Awe(Pal 3 Sublvl)
- use of Wands & Scrolls with Paladinspells

The theme was raging unarmed combatant and I enjoyed making a RAW raging monk, Frostrager was added because it boosted unarmed attacks while raging.

I'll look at the RoD Paladin ACF's and see what I come up with.  I might end up redoing it altogether, though I'd list that as a separate build.

Nanshork, I heartily recommend using the Versatile Spellcaster trick for early entry into whatever PrC has the lowest casting requirements.

That, and Versatile Spellcaster rocks.

Early Entry < Feat Starvation.   :p

Versatility > Intensity.  :P

Wouldn't give me early entry anyway, both PrCs require 8 ranks in skills.

Hmmm, shame.

But I'm sure there's something else we can fit in there.

Trust me, five levels of sorcerer grates on me.  If you come up with anything better let me know!
You could abuse taint mechanics (and your familiar) and enter rainbow servant at 2nd level.  Necropolitan will get you a bonus feat, and the requisite taint level simultaneously.  You'd have to shuffle around your feats a bit, though...

Four levels of RS gets you good and air domains, detect evil at will, and a fly speed for four minutes/day.  The rebuking air creatures ability is probably the only relevant domain ability, but it's pretty nice to have a little cohort of green wyrmlings or will o' wisps.  To fit with the theme, though, I'd recommend ice paraelementals or ice/snow weirds.  The weirds are pretty much stationary, but they get awesome spellcasting.

EDIT: Ack, curse you second level necropolitan requirement! Some other undead is an option, though, since the undead classes in LM can apparently be multiclassed with freely (LM34), and the lich and ghost savage progressions can as well.

I don't know any dm that uses taint, and the sorcerer already gave up his familiar.  Nice theoretically, but I don't know of any game where it would actually see play.

I take it you're going regular badger instead of dire with that build?  The biggest problem I see is the lack of frenzy control.  Also, if you're going Barbarian why have the Half-Orc Paragon levels?

More rage is always nice :-) 1-day is not enough.

Any other suggestions for those 2 levels?

Not really.  That character looks like too much bookkeeping for me anyway.   :P

Can get a lot of bonuses a couple of times a day though.

I'm currently working on a "lycanthropy light" using shifter and weretouched master.  (Yes, I'm aware of the errata but it's still not a bad PrC.)

Too much bookkeeping?  I didn't even add bear warrior!

Back on topic.   :P

I got sidetracked, but the Lycanthropy Light build is complete (but not really, could use help fleshing the rest out).

When I saw the title of Lycanthropy Light, this build just sprung into my head:
Shifter Barbarian 2/Warblade 2/Warshaper 4/Bear Warrior 5/Bloodclaw Master 5/Fighter 2
- pretty simple and straightforward, stacks shifting on top of the big angry bear, lots of boosted stats, a few maneuvers, feat: shifter savagery for high damage, I just shoved those fighter levels at the end because I couldn't think of anything better
