Why not make them Dodge bonuses? There'd be no other way to get dodge bonuses to, say, attack rolls, and they stack with everything. Also, circumstance bonuses would work.

Dark creature template is fine.  I'm a bit iffy on Half celestial, but even with a 32 PB, you'll still lose 1 level to LA, so i guess i'll allow it for now.

If you guys want to play, please post on the GAIA site.

Is there still room?

I would want to give a Bard a try. Not quite sure what to do with the other side, but perhaps Crusader for White Raven maneuvers, so I could buff the party even more.

I'm still waiting on friends, so the party composistion is not set yet.  feel free to post a basic description of your character, and i'll see... So far we have magnus, Kantolin, Caelic and Wooden putting in characters.

I definately can't take more than 6 though.

Mostly just stiff limits to undead minion making.  For both mechanical and story reasons.

You can still throw out Meta-hax-Eneverations.

Also, I'm going to be playing around with a spell that "purifies" redently made undead, turning them into necropolitan-like sentient creatures.  Negative energy is not inherently evil, so dread necros can be good.

Man, so many cool options...  Dang!  Flooded with choices  :love...

OK, here's the skeleton for a Pixie Dread Necro // Binder... I didn't see anyone else doing this on the campaign thread...  Des Fronge

And I'll have to renounce my initial interest, I realised I might not have the time after all.

Mind if I make up a were-something? Sounds kinda fun, and I think I have a nice idea for a charrie. Is player's guide to Faerun available? I've been reading through the Lycan guide, and didn't know about the Black Blood Hunter.  :D MY BAD! I'll try and make due with my legacy weapon, which shouldn't be too difficult...

Also, just how optimal does it have to be? I'm currently looking a bit more at flavor than optimization, but he should be pretty tough anyways...? Also, it'd be nice to have a sort of beastskin armor that applies to lycans, if we could work it out somehow.

This is not a game for high optimization.  The goal is characters who have lots of flexibility and options, not raw power.  You want a character which can fill more than 1 role in a pinch, and which can hold its own in combat, but doesn't overshadow.

There hasn't been much activity over here or on the other message board, but feel free to put up a build over there.  I'd have someone to post with.

LA can be bought off at a rate of 4 point buy / 2 LA... so...
Half-Celestial Pixie (Point Buy = 40 - 4x8 = 8 left over)
Str 8, Dex 18, Con 14, Int 16, Wis 16, Cha 24
>58 point buy.  Plus, tons of bonus stuffs.

S'okay wooden, we know how you tend to jump into many things at once.

I'll go start a Character sheet thread over on the other forum, to give people a place to put up their builds.

I should really go post more setting info too, but i have a number of things to juggle myself... I'm beta reading for someone at the mo'

So, I was wondering if its too late to attempt to join?  I really like the sound of the world after reading about it, but am aware i'm a little late for the bus.  However, the concept i've chosen I think would really fit the fluff.  Binder/Crusader PrC into Occult SLayer/Defiant.  Defiant is planar handbook, and it is a class that's all about the gods are a lie, and the ones that aren't are the ones whose ass i'm gonna kick.  I saw on Gaia that it's looking to be a pixie party, and I am fine with that if it helps, though my build doesn't really need a whole lot of anything.  SOme cha and some con, and with 40 pb, thats easy.  If you want, I can post a more complete build on gaia, i just wanted to test the waters here.

Also curious. Are all slots filled?

I would definitely be interested in a (Maybe) half-celestial + Paladin 2 // Binder 1/Warlock into Hellfire Warlock.

Thoughts? Is this doable? Sounds juicy, lol.

Also, being an outsider, would probably be venerable (yay for not dieing to old age?). Again, thoughts?

OOC-well for that matter he could just ride on my sword, that's about 15' ;)
OOC - That's what SHE said!  But, otherwise, that works for me, if you guys are willing.

If you got any room, I'd love to play.
