I thought a giant bizarre ostrich thing sounded interesting...

I thought it would get lynched on sight.
Naw, it'd be captured and made into Chicken McNuggets.

In Sharn? :P

After half the city collapsed, and people are panicking, I feel the last thing they want to see is something reminiscent of a nightmare. They would need a mass-Calm Emotions spell to prevent him from being mobbed.

I thought some people would kidnap it for breeding stock instead.

If you can't find a Giant Bizarre Ostrich with butterfly wings in Sharn, then where can you find one? Outside of Dal Quor, anyway. :D

Any suggestions on identities for my changeling to pick up other than his 'birth' one? I figure having 2-3 other full sets of faces and IDs would be fun way to combine a maxed out disguise with it.

A prostitute ID is mandatory for any changeling, for one.

Tough call. You haven't got the stats for a Tank, and you don't have the feats needed to pass yourself off as a Sorcerer.

If you think this is taking forever, I point you to the Skies of Arcadia game. That thread is 71 pages long, weighing in at a whopping 1418 replies. That campaign took months out of my life, and is my greatest failure.

To this day I draw inspiration to continue my work from that flop of a campaign. It had so much potential, but I let everyone down. I feel the need to redeem myself every time I look at it. it's what inspired me to make a book.

I plan on adapting it into some other, more manageable form, and let the players of that campaign see what could have been.

I'd offer to help you Agita, but it might not be in my best interests to help gear someone that might end up trying to kill me  :P

Edit: It's not taking forever Sin, i'm just impatient.

Obviously pretending to be NPC classed would be a great deal easier. :D

Not quite as extreme as Skies of Arcadia, but the Death of an Artist game has seen 677 posts since January. We're going to actually start sometime soon.

I don't know, mimicing the Adept's spells will be a bit tough on you. You may need to blow up the other half of the city to prove that.

You'll want a priest-looking ID, most likely, and a merchant, and of course as Agita said, prostitutes (of both genders :D)

I've still got my sheet to finish, but I'm starting to make faster progress. Until I head off to work, of course. But then I've got all of tomorrow off. :D

So, looks like I'll have to go with the were-eagle.

Who wants to ride me? :p
My work
The tier system in a nutshell:

Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
