The ground around the grass shifts slightly, and suddenly...the grass comes out of the ground. Jo'ro has just uprooted what could've been considered a symbol of hope in an otherwise dirty field of depression, pessimism and futility.

Oops. Jo'ro hastily pushes the clump back into the ground, and returns his attention to the grate. Catching sight of the dent in the upper corner, he tries to gain purchase with his fingers, and haul the grate open.

Jo'ro's fingers scrape against the smooth surface of the panel - it feels like he COULD move it, if he could get a grip on it, or if he could prise his fingers underneath, a feat that seems impossible given the current amount of finger room.

The shot widely misses the Weequay. However, prisoners are starting to react to the cries of the one with the gun. Most shuffle towards their cells, thinking it wise to avoid the punishment that comes with rioting. However, a twi'lek and a human nod at him, evidently up for a scrap.

The prisoners dash to the side patrol guards, the human taking the one at the east, the twi'lek the one at the west.

The human takes a swing at his guard.

Attack Roll: 14 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2045103/

Damage roll: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2045106/

He hits the guard with a right-hook to the jaw.

The Twi'lek attempts a similar maneuver.

Attack Roll: 3 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2045112/

However, he misjudges the distance between him and his target, and misses.

The guard to the east raises his pistol to the human rioter, and fires.

Attack roll: Natural 20 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2045119/

Damage Roll: 9 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2045124/

The human drops to the floor.

The guard to the west fires at the Twi'lek

Attack roll: 11 http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2045128/

The blaster bolt misses the Twi'lek, going to his left.

The Weequay dashes after Lanrash, and takes another swing at him, hoping his third time will be luckier.

Attack Roll: Critical Miss http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2045129/

He lets out a frustrated growl as he stumbles slightly, and misses again.

The human who Lanrash disarmed stands by the door, looking on at the combat, still stunned at being disarmed.

((Ok, so the first death in the game is NPC vs NPC. Shame on you, players. Shame on you.))

Oh, my plan involves far more than that.

Taking a quick glance round at the other prisoners, she strolls after the other two, seeming not to have a care in the world.

The guard wails and grabs the back of his head with the hand not holding his blaster - his head seems to be bleeding badly.
