Making Seto Kaiba in Shadowrun 3E
« on: April 13, 2009, 08:04:44 PM »
Hey everyone,

I'm starting my first Shadowrun game and was wondering if I could get some advice or tips on making a character for the system.  It's starting at 1st levl with a bunch of new players and an experienced GM.  The other players are a pair of melee characters (a ghoul and a fox shifter) and a human sniper.

Since astral magic and hackers aren't options for this game per the DM's request, I want to try playing a rigger based on Seto Kaiba from Yu-gi-oh! (Actually from yu gi oh the abridged series, if there's any difference).

I'd appreciate any help with making the concept work, as well as basic advice for a decent combat character at levels 1-5 in the system (or however low levels are classed).

Ideally, the character would be an ex-corp working to earn money to free his kidnapped younger brother, and would rely on drones themed after a children's card game.  Having a helicopter would also be a plus.

Thanks!

Knowing what I do about YGOA, and Shadowrun, I would say a decker would be more appropriate.

Waiting for customary sighting of what I did.  ;)
YAY! I get to go to the SPECIAL hell!

"The picks aren't breaking through, sir!"
"Alright men, time to break out the greatswords!"

"You may not make money being a bad-ass!"
