Description
A man approaching middle age, with black hair marked with streaks of grey that make him look older than he actually is, Khas stands just under 6 feet tall. His frame is lean and hard, and scars on his body and face show that he's seen more than his fair share of battles. His grim demeanor and cynical attitude hint that the scars he bears are not only skin deep. When arrayed for battle, he wields a polearm tipped with a ruby colored crystal blade, and wears full plate armor of a lighter red crystal. When in civilized areas, he often walks around in simple traveler's clothes, but those who have traveled with him know he can magically call his armor and weapons in an instant's notice. He also has a large backpack that seems stuffed with everything imaginable, and one would think that his back should be bowed like a sapling between that and his armor, but it doesn't seem to even slow him down.
PW: 10 (1+9)

Mantles: Physical Power, Freedom, Guardian, Time, (Planes)
Ardent Powers (ML7):
1st: Vigor, Dimension Hop (Swift action, 10 ft teleport + 5 ft/pp augment)
2nd: Hustle, Damp Power (Immed. action, minimal damage from a spell/power or SLA/PLA, augment with 4 more PP to affect all in area)
3rd: Astral Caravan
4th: Fly

Psiwarrior Powers (ML6): Adrenaline Boost, Expansion

Mantle Powers:
Freedom: +10 to speed when focused, expend focus for +ML to escape a grapple
Guardian: Expend focus as an immediate action to take a hit for someone. Must do this the after attack roll, but before the damage roll.
Physical Power: Expend focus as a free action to add +2 to Str, Dex, or Con for 1 round.
Time Mantle: +2 to Initiative. Can expend focus as an immediate action to delay damage from an attack or effect for 1 round. You cannot gain immunity to this damage in the mean time. It affects you as it would at the time you delayed it.
PsicrystalTactics:
Can manifest Vigor for free during a fight, using Linked Power + Adrenaline Surge (which itself is a nice swift action buff)(Swift action, expend focus). Combined with the Physical Power mantle ability (expend focus), this can give a total of +4 to Str and Con which stacks with enhancement bonuses.

The Guardian mantle lets him take a hit for someone by expending his focus as an Immediate action, which with Share Pain + Vigor, he can do very well.

He'll have to manage his actions and foci wisely, but with Hustle + Psionic Meditation, he can get his own focus back with a swift action and some power points.
Character background:
On Khas' homeworld of Aiur, a hegemony of powerful psionic constructs rules the entire globe. Humans are at best second class citizens, but in many cases little more than slaves. Khas himself has been trained as a bodyguard, and is the servant of Glissara, one such construct. He feels that this station is an honor, and he is completely devoted to his master, body, mind and spirit.

After their homeworld of Aiur was devastated by an invasion of extraplanar beings, Khas was sent with his master as part of an investigative team to determine what might be causing the dimensional instabilities that led to the invasion. One of the Seers said that this world might yield clues as to the nature of these instabilities. During their travels through the Astral Plane, the other members of their team were killed during a battle with githyanki raiders. Khas was their planar guide, and feels that he failed by letting the others die in the attack. He still takes pride that he and his master were able to survive and defeat their enemies, however.

Khas now finds himself on a strange world, where humans are dominant and constructs are hardly to be seen anywhere. A savage, chaotic place, he thinks. Without discipline, humans are left to war aimlessly with themselves, which according to ancient legends led to an apocalypse on his own world, and the rise of the machines, which then restored a harmonious peace.

Most of the survivors from his homeworld have since relocated to Shakuras, a secret world which Khas and his master only briefly visited before embarking upon their current mission.
Philosophy:
Men are ruled by their baser emotions. Driven by petty greed, selfishness, and vengefulness, they constantly war with each other, if left unchecked. The pure intellect of the machine is free from such instincts, and therefore it is Just that machines should rule over men, to guide them and keep their instinctual natures in check.

The deities of men are likewise petty, and driven by emotions. The machines have no need of such deities, and neither do men, when they have the machines as physical gods there to guide them. Therefore, there is no greater calling than to be called to serve as a Shield for one of the Masters.

History
Aquinas was born in a small fishing village in Kastuul, the child of a passing druid and a foolish young girl. His not entirely human nature went unremarked, in a place where being always damp was a fact of life. However, his illegitimate birth left mother and child outcast from the village, to fend for themselves. Aquinas spent long hours with the water as a child, and the villagers often saw him speaking to the waves and the gulls. When sudden storms struck and capsized the boats out at sea, they declared the teenaged Aquinas demonspawn, and threw him overboard far out at sea, tied with weights to make him sink.

The villagers were wrong, however, the boy was of the blood of the sea, not demons, and the ocean would not take it's own easily. Aquinas spent hours underwater, until rescued by a passing druid, who could breath water as he did. His father, though neither knew it.

Thus, the boy was traveled with his father, wandering the world, tending to nature and when the time came that he was judged suitable, Aquinas was formally initiated into the druidic tradition. The ceremony was odd by any account, where he was taken out to sea along with other druids and their initiates to hear the Feathered Whale speak.

Assigned to a grove in a seaside swamp where his talents were best suited, Aquinas worked diligently at the novice duties of tending the region, speaking little and aiding the senior druids where he could, seeking unnatural beasts to be expunged, not least of which were several young dragon invaders, black and green, which threatened to ruin the land in their search for new lairs. When he was deemed strong enough, Aquinas was sent out into the world with his brethren, to find out more about the rifts.

Personality
Aquinas's mood is like his blood, a fickle thing, normally calm and thoughtful, his blood is stirred irrationally when violent storms or strong waves are present, echoing the waters without. Druidic discipline has something to say to that though, and he has since learned restraint, enough to keep him from the overtly suicidal, if not the unwise at such times.

Appearance
Aquinas travels in a large dark green cloak concealing his distinctive black dragon leather armor from casual eyes, a parting gift from his grove. He wields a long crooked piece of driftwood, topped with a shard of a dragon's fang and wears a bracelet of a white feather threaded through leather and twine stripes. Small charms and fetishes adorn his clothing, though of these only a small number are actually magical.
Aquinas is 5'4", and appears to be in his 20s. His short cropped hair is dark grey, while sea blue eyes stare out of his tanned face. He bleeds seawater.

Bonus
In spite of being kicked out of Kastuul you are in fact a direct blood relation to the ruler of one of the moderately wealthy merchant houses based in the capital of Kastuul.

You are technically next in line, but as you have been exiled the position will probably go to someone else. Last thing you heard is that the clan leader was trying desperately to have one of his consorts bear him a male child.

Special: You have the uncanny ability to detect when a rift may be nearby, treat this as a continuous (Su) ability Detect Rift. Works within 30ft. May occassionally offer you small bits of information about where the rifts lead to if you spend time concentrating as per detect magic/etc rules.

Phexides

Background
Phexides was a runaway.  Father was a bitter drunken guardsmen, and mother was a caring but beaten down housewife.  Left home early and disappeared in the capital city of logrus.  Used wits and charm taught by his mother to survive amongst the orphans and gutter people, but learned from everything around.

Pexides always had an interest in magic, and learned a very primative form of street magics, mostly in illusion, or a twist of the tongue.  however, having learned to read at a young age due to parents being educated, he knew the vast value of the information in books.  Pexides began to find a wizard to steal a spellbook from, to better learn the workings of magic.  He succeeded, but only because the wizard had already noticed the young man himself, and allowed the book to be "stolen".  Cornellius was very impressed when within a few weeks saw through a scrying portal the youngster was already mastering basic cantrips, and was using them to entertain strangers and friends alike.  Interested, and bored, the old man approached the young man, told him of how he had set the boy up, and offered a chance at more formal training.

Pexides accepted.  Of course he'd grab at the chance to learn from a professional!  While he couldn't quite figure out how to cast spells from that book he nabbed, the powers in his blood had stirred upon studying the arcane symbols.  After a short period with the wizard, the young man understood the concepts of the various schools of magic and was memorizing them directly from the book he'd been given.  He decided to focus almost entirely upon the school of Conjuration.  They formed a interesting relationship, with the old man coming forthright and explaining Phexides' unique nature to him.  He hadnt even begun to speculate that he could use the magic in his blood to create greater feats than the old man could himself!  It would be long forthcoming, for the old man could summon creatures from planes afar, things that would tear through Phexides' strongest defences with ease.

Soon though, all thought of trying to best Cornellius was erased from his mind with the coming of the planar troubles.  Already invested in the magic of such things, their studies into the mystery their world now consumed most of his time.
Description
Phexides is a light skinned human, of average height and quite thin, but he appeared stout enough.  He has green eyes, and dark brown hair.  He walks with the confidence the late  20's brings, and has an easy smile most of the time.  He wears modest attire, loose pants and a tunic.  He travels light, with a sachel over his shoulder, and a finely made dagger at his belt.
Now, my math may be a little rusty, but if you take the tangent of the plane, find the equation of a perpendicular plane, and  take the anti-derivative of that... your math seems to be off by a tad.
