Ah, mkay. I think that's the answer I needed. New character idea time.

Could I take this opportunity to pimp my homebrewed class Mysterious Swordsage? It's like a Shadowcaster, but it takes inspiration from the Arcane Variant of swordsage and instead allows the class to learn mysteries (as well as shadow hand maneuvers).

I would like to use it in future games that I run, but I've not actually tested its power formally. Will you please let me use it in your game?

You can expect me to make up a whole lot of things in game, but i've already denied custom feats/class features for characters.

In that case, I'll go with a spellcaster of some sort. I've never done a psion, but we've got that... I could do a Beguiler, but I don't know if I wanna... I've got a Druid and an Archivist under my belt...

This is tough. I could play a Shaper, since Phaedrus is running either a Seer, an Egoist, or a Psychic Warrior. Yeah. I think a Shaper is up my alley. I've never rolled with a psion before. This ought to be fun.

Complete Psionic Astral Construct "Fixes": Are they in play, or not?

EDIT: And I've got an idea for a kind of rebel person who is trying to solve the conflict between Albion and Swayvil. Can't really decide the other aspects of the character but that's a basic concept.

I've actually decided to go with a Psiwarrior/Ardent multiclass, focused on taking a beating and defending other people. Basically, a human shield (with good mobility and planar travel abilities). :D I can offer some Shaper suggestions, though (Be a warforged :p ).

He said we could play just about anything, up to and including power armor pilots from the future... It is a plane hopping campaign. Most of the natives of this world are humans, but he did say we could play pretty much anything...

No idea, all i'm saying is rogues tend to be very limited in what they can do effectively. It's real easy to thwart one... I like my reliable damage personally but you can do whatever you want to do.

@Wooden - Yes, only one construct available at a time 'nerf' from CPsi. It's some broken b/s otherwise... edit: regardless*

Eh, considering the way the tiers are coming out, I'm increasingly thinking about a Swordsage instead of a Spellthief...  I really want to play a Spellthief someday, but maybe this isn't the time.  Swordsage fits w/ the backstory I have, though, so thats OK.  At least Spellthief will be closer to the other characters in power.  Anyone object?

I'm thinking of having my character be from a different world, a world that has lots of psionicists and psionic creatures. He was sent to this world because they've been having troubles with dimensional anomolies, and a Seer predicted that some answers might be found here. He journeyed through the Astral Plane from his own world to here with a few companions, but he was the only survivor after a githyanki attack

(Edit: Unless Woodenband man or someone else wants to have came with me).

Edit2: Let's say the planet is named Aiur. :D
