Okay, did I just say something stupid? I thought we were supposed to carry on inland from here on? You know, needing the mules to carry our gear and all that...

Bones scratches his stubble with a thoughtful finger. "No obstacles that we can't handle. There is a large ravine that may be a problem, but that is assuming the rope bridge that Dunning drew on the map has fallen over the last twenty or so years.

"It could still be there, for all I know. The maps takes us deep into unexplored territory. Richard, Max and I should be able to get us through it no problem."
Bones downs his drink in another gulp.

Mayhaps it is because of this:

"Ahhh! Good shit!" He says wiping his mouth. "There seemed to be some sort of swampland we'll have to navigate as well beyond that, but I really don't foresee anything problematic as long as we can keep our feet dry. No need for jungle rotted toes.

"When we get to the old Mission, we can resupply if we need. I think that since Dunning had written about it in his letter it is still worth checking out. But I think that I can get us MUCH closer before we need to leave this old girl behind. I DON'T really want to leave it at the former Mission. They call it Machete Landing these days, but just cause they sell supplies to travelers, doesn't mean I like the idea of leaving this boat at their dock while we head inland.

"Unless you guys have any problems, I'd like to stop in real quick, check out the Mission and skip the village beyond all together. From what I saw on the map, I think I know of a tributary we can take that will get us awfully close to the first set of ruins Dunning had written about. From there, I'd say we can travel the old fashioned way from there.

"I'd feel better if we tied up El Halcon somewhere where only WE know about it. Savvy? Do any of you have anything to add? Richard? Max?"

No worries. it's been over a month and a half since those plans had been discussed in RL.

Should I edit my IC post or just leave it like this and say the heat finally got to Kestrel?

Don't edit. Too many posts have continued with what you got started.

But...

That was the first night after Orino Perro-- you defused a bomb and helped kill demon possessed man that day. Suffice to say, you MAY not have remembered that conversation, especially if you follow the original quote back on July 13th-- We all was drinking that night too!

Now that BG is up and running well once again, thanks to the diligent work of Andy from SpookyOutHouse-- I want to know-- are any of you waiting for an answer or maybe a response from me? If so, let me know and I'll get right on that-- If there is another reason this particular lull is taking so long then lets see if we can resolve it!

Lemme know if there is anything I can do...

I couldn't get on the boards again the other night, they just wouldn't pop up in my browser although any other website would!

Oh well. I've posted, but I'm assuming your waiting on everyone else to post. Mayhaps their characters are doing nothing.

Ab-so-lut-ely nothing... lol

I think it's just a bit of a lull, we are moving damningly slow though as soon as we are done with poor Paco we're probably going to shove off, well... thats the general consensus I gathered.

El Abuelo, all the way! Nazi's are the endgame, cannibals the obnoxious bastards we may encounter one more time (hopefully I'll be able to convince them to go after the nazi's, heheheh), but El Abuelo is one of those side-quest/mini-endboss things that I think would be hella fun. Cannibals? Eisen hates to bother himself with. Nazi's? That's just fuckin' fun for a guy like Eisen. El Abuelo? That's got some character development/altering of perception going for it.

Also, I'm damn glad we have someone like jolt to actually put clues together, cause I sure as hell ain't keeping up with it, lol.
