It isn't that-- I'm not angry or anything. Just concerned-- I hope that my loss of internet didn't kill the pace this game was maintaining.
Weekends are freebies, so I never really know the sort of posting I can expect. I'm just putting it out there that we have begun yet another week, and freebies are over.
It could be that I expect too much though, but the 1 Post per Day rule was one that came highly recommended. Otherwise the pacing of this will bog down severely, and this campaign is too big for a slower pace to work.
Travel isn't very fun, so I'm minimizing it as much as possible-- giving you chunk descriptions for an entire days journey, but if no one posts during the Campfire sequences, especially when discussing important game information where in-character choices and decisions need to be discussed, then there isn't anything I can do to shove the game along.
I look for participation. If I come online and see that no one has posted in the 8 hours that I have been away, obviously my hands are tied. At this point I have to sit back and wait, usually another 8 hours or so.
A players argument is: Well, I didn't see anything for my character to react to or interact with.
The rule is still one post per day. Create something to interact with, or send your PC to bed. I can't know if I need to continue without these sorts of posts to give me the indication that I need.
