Well, two pair of eyes and ears is better than one, so I say we go with the 2x2 thing :)

Also, will post IC again tomorrow night. Too drunk/tired/stressed at the moment for a decent post.

Name Your Mule!

There are six characters and there are six mules. So give your Mule a name here on the OOC. You are welcome to use it in-game if you wish, but you don't have to if it isn't within your character. But for us players, it'd be fun!

Afterward we will vote on the best mule name, by poll. Huzzah for ridiculous polls!

Richard refuses to name his mule.

But I name him Jimbo-Jones the Jaunty Jackass!

I'm going on vacation for a month starting tomorrow.  Internet access is going to be sporadic as I'm not sure where I'll be staying when.  If this ends up posing too much of a problem you can pull my character out or take control of him.

Having him leading the party in an NPC way will not pose a problem. I think I have a good handle on how he acts/reacts, so if need be I can step in here or there if need be.

Have a good month, and I'll see you over in j0lt's game around then as well!

You're doing a good job, I'll leave you to it.   :D

I'll try to get on as often as possible, but I don't even know what my plans are beyond Sunday.   :P

Happy Monday. I hope you all had a good weekend!

Remember that normal posting continues throughout the week, and I require one post per day per active player. Posting habits have slipped a bit during my absence, and I hope we can get back to posting regularly again. Otherwise this game is going to slow down, and no one wants that!  :bigeye

In-Game you guys are very close to reaching Orino Perro, the village where Bones spends more time than he should, and where the man left his river craft.

It isn't that-- I'm not angry or anything. Just concerned-- I hope that my loss of internet didn't kill the pace this game was maintaining.

Weekends are freebies, so I never really know the sort of posting I can expect. I'm just putting it out there that we have begun yet another week, and freebies are over.

It could be that I expect too much though, but the 1 Post per Day rule was one that came highly recommended. Otherwise the pacing of this will bog down severely, and this campaign is too big for a slower pace to work.

Travel isn't very fun, so I'm minimizing it as much as possible-- giving you chunk descriptions for an entire days journey, but if no one posts during the Campfire sequences, especially when discussing important game information where in-character choices and decisions need to be discussed, then there isn't anything I can do to shove the game along.

I look for participation. If I come online and see that no one has posted in the 8 hours that I have been away, obviously my hands are tied. At this point I have to sit back and wait, usually another 8 hours or so.

A players argument is: Well, I didn't see anything for my character to react to or interact with.

The rule is still one post per day. Create something to interact with, or send your PC to bed. I can't know if I need to continue without these sorts of posts to give me the indication that I need.

Comments? Questions? General Feedback?

For me it's mostly that I'm still pretty busy, and that kinda tends to kill my creativity. And I don't really wanna make crummy posts, so sometimes I just don't get around to posting a reaction for every little thing that could potentially be of interest to my character.

I'll try to pick up the pace somewhat though, getting at least 1 post a day on weekdays.

Still very much liking this campaign, no worries about that :)

Well, you know I'm?into this campaign, but there are times when I'm not so sure what use my posts will make.  Aside from that, this is freakin' awesome!  If is weren't for this game, I'm not sure if I'd be so into d20 Modern!
