Anyone hear anything on Jace recently? Past couple weeks of studying for a couple certification exams have kept me super busy so I haven't been on a few days. Been going through gaming withdrawls. If my regular gaming group doesn't get back together soon I may have to start a PbP game here to sate my gaming need.

Yeah, he texted me just last night. His phone service (and thus access to the internet) has been down for a bit. The text message tells me it's back on, so hopefully we'll hear from him soon.

I check in from time to time to see if anything is happening in this game. I really want it to get going again but am loosing faith in that.

Personally I'm dealing with my daughter's heart surgery #2 and Mardi Gras in New Orleans (where the hospital is). It is going good right now everything looks good and she is the only one on the schedule for surgery Thursday, it is a long one 6-8 hrs, but she should be able to go out in public after this one. That one thing is enough to make me a bit excited about this surgery.

Baby girl's surgery went great. She is sedated and intubated but overall doing good.

Man I miss this game and the Isle Noir one. The latter a bit more since I was in that one longer. Before he went off the grid, I was talking to Jace about info on his Black Island game to run for one of my groups later. Finally have a small side game I will be running soon and was just looking through that thread to take notes. We had some pretty darn good RP'ing going on there.

Hey friends!

I'm at the public library using the interwebs.
My financial situation is still horrible. I live at the poverty level basically, but what does one expect when one works a single part-time job which doesn't pay enough to let one fix his car so one can better ones self. I'm not crying about. It is what it is.

Have you all been well in the... forever since I last was here?

I've been runnng my tabletop Black Isle game at home on Sunday nights. 8 players squeezed into my living room. It gets really hot sometimes.

We're like 20 sessions into the campaign. Team Blackout has been put through the proverbial wringer as per my GMing style. We've been in the middle of a boss fight in the depths of The Blender Lab for the past 3 sessions.

When you have 8 to 9 players, each round takes roughly 15 minutes to complete in real time. It's ridiculous.

So I miss you guys, and I miss running The Artifact. I almost was able to buy myself a little Netbook this tax season, but then catastrophy struck once again and that money had to go elsewhere. my only real saving grace is that we have a roomie living with us since August of last year, and that certainly gives some relief on the bills.

Anyway guys, I'm going to read up on the posts that I've been missing -- I can't at this time do too much game-wise...(the library computer timer is steadily decreasing on me.)

I hope to be back real soon, but I'm past the point of making timetable declarations... I'll be back when I am, sadly. I'll gladly pick up where we all left off with any of you who are still in tow.

I think the most of us are just suspended in sleep-mode for this, ready to be awoken. Not that we're fuckin' epic, or anything.

Hope things turn up brighter in the near future Jace (I feel you on that poverty line shit, fuuuuck).
