I think it's hard to beat Runescarred 'Zerker, if you leave out FB. I don't know that I'd just go 10/10, though. There are lots of other good classes you could mix in there.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Like... anything? Why would you ever take 10 levels of barbarian? Two levels of fighter for feats, 1 level of cloistered cleric for Travel Devotion (if you didn't take the 1st level barbarian substitution level that grants pounce for some reason...), a few ranger levels for skills... seriously, just about anything is better than taking 10 levels of barbarian. I guess the only advantage for more barbarian is that it stacks with Runescarred 'Zerker for some things? I can't remember if that's true. Anyway, for more rages, just take the Extra Rage feat.

Berserker (Deities and Demigods) is good for this idea.  Less dangerous than FB, easy to get into, can get you flight among other things.

I'd suggest barbarian 1/psychic warrior 19, only then it's not a barbarian build; it's a psywar build with barbarian splash.

What about barbarian/totemist/totem rager?

I dare anyone to find a hole in that logic.

^Ooh, good one. Great soulmeld support as well as pounce and you can get good power attack returns on your girallon claws for 4 x3 power attacks with leap attack and some other thing. Also, you can toss a 2HW into that as well and still get the benefit of the claws, get bonuses to intimidate/jump/crap...

I also like the Champion of Gwynharryf because it has some ability that I can't remember that has to do with intimidating. Any intimidating rage barbarian is pretty win. A goliath with Mountain Rage might have the advantage on this one.

You don't really need that many lvs of barb anyways. Most of the juicy abilities are granted by the first two levels, the rest are fairly lackluster. Maybe barb4 if you want another use of rage (for 4/day with extra rage). That is pretty much the most I would go.

I'd stop at Barb1 or Barb2.  Extra Rage will get you all the rage you're likely to use.

Throw in Zhentarium Fighter for more intimidation goodness?

You could make a "variant barbarian" using almost all the variant class features and come out with something interesting.
Something like Ferocity (or whirling frenzy) + lion totem+ trap smasher + street fighter.
.................
Or a Cha-barb with imperious command + intimidating rage. I think thats one of the better ones I use it myself cause fear is soooo strong.  Or can be.
Hmmm... bear warrior.
