Completely forgot about the Hat of Many Spells from the Animated Series Handbook. 

Despite the name, it's a held item, so it doesn't take up a slot.

And the spellcaster can now waive the cost of providing any material component less than or equal to 1k for the low low cost of 25k.

It's pretty awesome.


Fabricate shenanigans are the least of what we can do with this.

Also, have you guys looked at the Spells in the Call of Cthulhu d20 book? It mentions how to transfer them to D&D. Some of them are really powerful.
