As the group heads out on the path Vastor has picked out on the map, Tom stops dead in his tracks. "This had better not be rabbits," he says. "I mean really, we're 1st level, and actual bandits might be too hard for us, but if it's bunnies living in that cave and stealing the villagers' crops, I'm gonna start attacking villagers myself. If they're even targetable..."
He continues following the group. Then he gets a sly look on his face and softly says, "Or perhaps show them real banditry...but we have to be able to make demands of them. I hope most of them don't just spout random crap when you try to strike up a conversation. I mean just killing them would do the trick, but really, you have to be able to say 'Your money or your life!' or banditry just loses so much of its charm."
