I just don't see why people like clerics... it must be like THE MOST BORING CLASS EVER, or at least it feels like that...

They have... uh... some buffs and healing and such... yeah, that is pretty much it...

If you really wanted those buffs, why not just be an incarnate or totemist?

The rest of the tier 1s aren't that bad, though...

(Except artificer's suck if you don't have any downtime)

Wizard, Artificer, Warblade, Totemist, Dragonfire Adept; in the order they appear on the list.

Unless the Wilder or PsyWar went in for the Healing-through-Psicrystal bit, most likely.

You've never played a cleric have you? I can tell, because that's the standard mentality of someone who hasn't. ;) It's okay, one day you might realize the truth. :D

Well, I'd agree that it IS boring...but for pretty much the opposite reason.
The mind transcends the body.
It's also a little cold because of that.
Please get it a blanket.

I wish I could read your mind,
I can barely read mine.

"Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. At 2:15, it begins rolling up characters."

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

Too easy, and all it takes to power up is a morning prepping new spells. I don't like the temptation.

It can be easy, but so can being any caster in D&D. ;)
Although, to be fair, since clerics don't need sleep like wizards, they do have it a bit easier.

Temptation makes clerics.  :lol

Warlocks and Binders (I get at-will abilities!? Sign me up!), Paladins and Soulknives (For the flavor rather than the mechanics) made up my fav's. I like skillmonkeys a lot, but I forgot them, so they're not my fav's obviously.

Warlocks can fake Skill-monkey reasonably....

At least the other casters need to Learn those spells, clerics just wake up one morning and decide they need to kick ass, and it needs to be kicked NOW.

Warlocks can fake Skill-monkey reasonably....

And they can fly too. And shapechange. And conjure forth nasty chilly spiked tentacles of forced intrusion. And...

Druid, Cleric, Crusader, Totemist, Binder, not in order. 6th was psychic warrior, but he got beat out by the Totemist, even if he would lose to a psychic warrior.
