im planning on a mechanic, likely of the watto species.

Any idea on what PrC you'll be using?  I ask because I'll be doing some mechanic stuff of my own, fiddling with my own droidyness, heh.

It'll certainly make the game interesting, that's for sure.

So we got 2 Jedi, a wannabe Sith, a walking rug and a Cylon?

Should be interesting indeed :P

He, I might change to a Wookiee Jedi :lmao

I'm still thinking about my character.  If I put a Jedi into the party with a self-taught Sith, it'll be hard not to have the party kill itself.  I may go with a female Twi'lek escaped slave turned mercenary.  Lemme work out the builds and I'll get back to you.

Emissary, is your sith going mainly with force powers, or lightsaber?

And how 'Sith' will he be?

Would it be able to have a Jedi in the same party, or would that inevitably result in a TPK?
Basically, is he as bad as Charon? :P

No worries, I'm going with a different character: Teela Cholak, former slave turned mercenary/pirate.  Think Molly Millions from Neuromancer (novel) crossed with Vasquez from Aliens.  :devil

:D

Say, think we should pool some credits in advance to start saving for our own spaceship?
For 25000 credits we can get a second-hand YT-1300 (same model as the Millenium Falcon for those not in the know, and the YT series was around since before the Clone Wars, so I hope this is an option) :D

With that mechanic in the party we should be able to get some useful upgrades as well :)

EDIT: Other options would be the Ghtroc 720 freighter for 23000 and the Barloz-class freighter for 17500 :)

And who's playing what and what exactly can your character do?
I'm still trying to decide between melee and ranged... :embarrassed

Also, the YT would have the most room for extensive modifications seeing as it comes with 10 unused emplacement points and a cargo capacity of 100 tons (or 20 extra emplacement poinst, seeing as each 5 tons of cargo capacity sacrificed gets you an extra emplacement point) :D

I'm going to be a droid of an undetermined type.

I'm going to either be a scoundrel and go for either Saboteur or Military Engineer, or be a Soldier and go melee and probably Elite Trooper.  No matter what I'm also taking levels in the Independent Droid PrC and going to be able to repair and/or reprogram myself.

Roscoe is a Toydarian mechanic. (so far, the race may change...)  i dont see alot so far for class options, its looking like he is technically a scoundrel.

Bowen, I think that melee would be the best route if paired with Torin. Torin primarily is a force user, so most of his attacks will be from a range, but he can enter melee if required.

Let's collaborate so I don't step on your toes.  Are there any feats/ PrCs you're specifically going for?

so far, having looked at 6 books it looks like im going scoundrel.. i have not gotten to look at prc's yet, but i need to. my focus is mechanics, i still have to absorb the game mechanic.. but i think all my secondary stuff is going to be spread thin. between ship stuff, computer stuff, stuff stuff..

i dont think you can step on my toes.. i may have to sub focus on steath/ deception.. like any good mechanic..
