Nanshork--We have five interested people right now (six if you count woodenbandman, but he may end up just watching), so this is probably the group. I usually go on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't worry, I can handle six of you. ;)

Bowen--I have a list you can check out:
Starships of the Galaxy
Threats of the Gakaxy
Scum and Villainy
The Force Unleashed Campaign Guide
The Clone Wars Campaign Guide
Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide

I fail at counting this morning, am I in?  :p

Nanshork--Certainly, unless you decide you don't want to.

Bowen--Maximum per level, forgot about that.  :embarrassed Your characters look good so far--if you manage to get your hands on other sourcebooks, there are talents, feats, and the like in there as well you may be interested in (for instance, Scum and Villainy's Brawler talents for your Wookie).

Thanks for the tip :)

A slight variation of the Wookiee, a little bit less damage, but a little bit more reliable hits later on:

I'm in, don't worry.  Was just being stupid this morning.   :P

Are droid characters allowed?

Also, what basic roles are everyone thinking of filling?

I'm thinking about adapting an Ithorian Jedi I made.  Pretty standard, Lightsaber user, some force powers, probably a level of noble at the beginning.  Nothing fancy. Definitely not a force wizard, though.

I would be interested (I really really want to play a Rodian someday), but I haven't got the books.

And I'm not sure how useful a tracker/pilot would be (Scout1/Scoundrel3 is what you need for that, I think.)

Oh, well, I can still watch.

That would depend on the campaign era...which I note no one has yet spoken on, one way or the other. :P

I'm fine with any era.  :D

Two questions.  First, if I'm being a general droid, and not picking a specific model to be, how do I figure out my own base cost for the purposes of feats/abilities whose costs is dependent upon the cost of the droid.  Second, can I use such feats/abilities upon myself if I gain them?

Specifically I'm thinking of the Tech Specialist (Starships of the Galaxy) and Superior Tech (Scum and Villany) feats.

I'm a fan of KOTOR and Clone Wars

Here's the bare bones of my character

Ooh, that's a tricky one.

1) Since the stock droid models cannot exceed 5000 credits, use that as the base price for now.

2) Yes, just remember you can only apply one of the Tech Specialist traits to yourself at once.

How do you have 31 Force Points?

I'll remember.  I'm willing to pay for things to make myself more awesome. :D

Alright.  I'm going to either go Scoundrel and be more skill-based, or Soldier and be combat-based.  Either way I'm at least going to have a couple of levels in the Independent Droid PrC.  Thoughts as to which way I should go?  The way our group is shaping up I'd probably scrap the soldier idea altogether except for the fact that there's a droid only talent that gives 2x strength mod to damage for one handed melee weapons available to fourth-degree droids.

You don't retain Force Points from previous levels.
