A used Dynamic Class is 30k, a used YT-1300 is 25k.

I could undo my speederbike purchase, giving me around 10k to play with if we really need it...

I'm right here, Nanshork, waiting for AC. What do you need? :D

(And of course, he'll post about five seconds after me.)

Here's my character so far, still need to do feats, talents, languages, and buy things.

Edit: With the fluff I'm going with, I wasn't built by altpersona.  Makes it easier to explain my PrC choice, heh.

Edit edit: Bozwevial, what would be required to have a weapon on a tool mount and have it concealed within myself?

I've looked all over and haven't seen rules for concealed weapons inside of droids.

Edit: You do understand that I'm talking about things like having a blaster built into my arm and it can pop out and shoot someone, right?

Yeah...I'll look for that, and write up something if I can't find anything.

You're thinking of the upgrades in Scum and Villainy.  Those apply to gear, not droids.

Unfortunately.

It's droidification.  Turn a piece of equpment (like a pda) into a droid.

That's the general idea, though I had more I wanted to do with that idea.  :P

I was thinking things more along the lines of weapon mount armor upgrades.

Speaking of which, Boz, can I use normal rules for item upgrades on droid armor?  And what would it take for my droid to have armor but not look like he was wearing armor?

Any thoughts on the mixing of melee/ranged? Viability? Necessity?

Also, I say we go with the YT-1300, the Dynamic is butt-ugly and too expensive :P

Go for it.  I'd focus on just one though.  Proficiency in the other is good enough for the rare circumstances where it may be necessary.

Okay, 3 options for characters, just need to decide on skills and fill in some blank feat slots:

-Melee/Ranged (primary Dual Light Sabers, but proficient in pistols, rifles, and Dex-based, so can cover Ranged if necessary): http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=110483

-Dual Blaster Pistols: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=108897

-Rifle/Autofire: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=108904

Any preferences on what you guys would like me to play? I'm thinking the Dual Pistol guy will have the highest damage output at the moment, and both the ranged guys have somewhat better Fort defense and Damage Threshold right now.

At level 9 the Jedi will get Ataru, so by then he should catch up in damage output. How potent/dangerous/common is melee combat in saga?

(currently leaning somewhat to the Jedi, but I could really go with any of those options, depending on the need for melee...)

I'm not sure which would be best honestly, though I am a backup melee/ backup ranged guy.

And I've never played sage before so I can't answer your questions, heh.
