I'd also enjoy participating in the challenge, especially if the secret ingredient is terrific choice.

I kinda want to participate this time around; it's the reason I haven't started any other challenges.  :D

was at first actually saving my UM+SC+MS combo for a challenge that involved ultimage magus. none showed up, so I posted it normally.

I'll run #5 if I can get a couple judges.

I've got a pretty good idea for a secret ingredient... :evillaugh

But it's not in the completes... So I'm debating on using it :p

@Bears: I already volunteered that part xD (But I'll judge if I get some input as to what the SI will be  ;))

I'm fine judging too. I just love the idea of this and want it to keep going.

I do have a suggestion that I'd like you all you consider for the next challenge. What about requiring breakdowns at levels 1, 10, 15, 20, and 30? Of course, banning Epic Spellcasting because... :banghead. I personally really like epic levels and I think a good build needs to be able to run the full gauntlet from level 1 into epic play.

eeeeh, make the lvl30 snapshot optional. epic really isn't used much.

That's a part of the reason that it would be a Iron Chef Challenge. ;)

Looks like we have more people interested in judging than competing... I'd be up for entering as long as it isn't entirely caster oriented.

well, considering how it's an optimizing challenge, spells are going to have to be a part one way or another.  :D

I might give participating a shot. Doubt I'll win the power competition, as I tend to avoid casters whenever possible and so will likely only involve spellcasting cheese in the form of custom magic items, but could still be fun.
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.

I would like to participate if the ingredient is reasonable. But any requirement of making an epic character immediately (or however you spell that) counts me out. Not because it can't do it, but becauses it takes too much freaking time!  :banghead :banghead :banghead

Hah, we could each be a secret ingredient, have a couple chefs make some builds for each of us into a de facto team, then face them off :p

edit: actually, I would totally organize something like this, although that would necessitate putting someone else in as the rival ingredient

Just going by names...

Dictum Mortuum = "Decree of the Dead" = Church Inquisitor (Decree = Judge) and Dread Necromancer (Dead) team.

Surreal = "Bizzarre or Dreamerlike" = Alienist (bizarre) and Quori Mindhunter (dreamlike :P) team.

Interesting match. If the Inquisitor mixes Sacred Exorcist, my money is on Dictuum.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

Yeah, my google found that, and a wall of text explaining it. But instead of figuring out what-the-heck-it-was since I have no setting knowledge I took the individual word definitions instead.
