He can take 10 on the DC 20 Knowledge (Planes) check to set the Planar Sails, since he has a +15 bonus. It takes 5 minutes to "dial in" a destination. I don't know enough about Eberron cosmology to suggest a decent plane for us to go to, though.

Well, what are the criteria? I'm going to say that Xoriat and Dal Quor are both non-options, both because we don't want to go there and because there's issues with it fluff-wise. A bunch of other planes are out because of hostile environment. I personally think Danvii (the lawful plane) or Lamannia (the nature plane) are our best bets - or rather, the least hostile planes.

That's Syrania. The manifest zone to that is what allows Sharn to exist.

Neither of the planes I mentioned would have much of a problem with undead (maybe Lamannia), but if you want to make sure, we can always go to Mabar, aka the 'night' plane.

I like the sounds of that. Eddie is definitely more of a "Mabar" kind of guy, I think. In fact... our whole party is, isn't it?  

After reading up on it a bit online, it looks like you can even go to "remote" planes with a high enough spellcraft check.

Well, we're basically down to Lucy, Eddie, and Nax as the entire party now, so yeah.

...disregarding the legion of shadows swooping around, Probe, Felix, Murray, Eleanor, Cyril, the pair of kalashtar...I don't think this is exactly the standard adventuring party.

How about we say Nax came with us, and we leave Anna (the NPC) behind? Unless Kuro wants it the other way around?

I think the Hex Cannon from Breath of Fire IV does that.

And there's at least one Yu Yu Hakusho character that shoots it out of his sword.
