David reaches down and picks up the metal, ignoring Charon completely.

The bit of metal is covered in blood, but as you pick it up, you realize it's a badge.  The writing on the badge makes it obvious that these were guards of the facility, and not a part of whatever attacked the facility.

David tosses the badge at Charon.  "Congratulations, even if they facility guards were on our side they'll want to kill us now if they saw this."

David shakes his head.  "Those guys were the guards of the facility."

"Look at the badge.  These were survivors of whatever attacked before, which was apparently a group of mutants."

Charon looks at the badge. Oh. Well...I'm going to go eat. Charon moves over to the guard with the intestines flowing and starts snacking.

Dog makes the climb up with Dean, grumbling about how he knew something like this would happen.

"See? This is why we can't have anything nice..." Dean deadpans at Dog, obviously annoyed about Charons loose cannon antics.
"I even warned that idiot to check if these weren't the original guards..."

David nods.  "And he doesn't even care.  Look at him, he's eating one of them!  I said it once and I'll say it again.  If this turns to shit, I'll know why."

"So, what do we do now? Continue with our original infiltration plan or are we going to do something else?" Dean inquires.

"Seeing as these are, or should I say 'were', the actual guards of the facility, whoever attacked this place might be long gone by now. Ofcourse I don't want to make any hasty assumptions...

Speaking of which, are you guys thinking it were mutants who attacked as well, judging by the guards' initial reaction to seeing captain subtlety over there?"
Dean continues, pointing in Charons' general direction with his gun.

"I don't think they got a radio message off, so I think we're safe for now.  Charon, now that you've had your snack, keep cool until we can at least question one of these guys!"

Dog sniffs at the air to detect any foreign scents.

"So, what do we do next David, besides watching slasher-boy enjoy his meal that is?" Dean asks.
