No christmas presents here, we've got the original Saint Nicholas, not your cheap Coca Cola knock-off ;) :P
I don't care what sort of a pagan god are you worshipping, but start paying some more respect towards the corporate engine or GTFO.

Sunic may be more abrasive than sandpaper coated in chainsaws (not that its a bad thing, he really does know what he's talking about), but just posting in this thread without warning and telling him he's an asshole which, if you knew his past experiences on WotC and Paizo is flat-out uncalled for. Never mind the insults (which are clearly 4Chan-level childish). You say people like Sunic are the bane of the internet? Try looking at your own post and telling me you are better than him.

Here's a fun fact: You aren't. By a few leagues.

Bought myself a netbook (or as I prefer to call it, my young Sith apprentice) to feed my various Interweb addictions, because my wife never buys me anything.

Also the blu-ray for Firefly, but I mentioned that in the Episode 30 thread.

Will pick up the blu Serenity on Tuesday, then drink on New Year's Eve until I forget 2008 ever happened. Stupid year.

I recieved an awesome belated Christmas gift: 21 DVD's of the Good Eats tv show. Science! Food! Goofy humor! What's not to love!?

Edit: Sorry about the commercials; I didn't even know about the site having a video of the show. You can easily mute, as well as fullscreen it if you like :).

I got 5 movies on DVD (all old drive in horror/monster movies, yays!), the first season of something called Code Monkeys on DVD, a crockpot, money, and a kitten calendar.
Code Monkeys is a amazing.

I didn't need much, so asked my family not to get me much (My parent's take pretty good care of my needs and I'm a bit too thrifty to want for much, so this christmas I was more focused on giving than receiving), but all told I got:
4 cool hats (about 25$ a pop and should last me years as well as being very stylish)
Bose speakers for my desk back at uni
Bottle of wine from the white elephant (this is getting regifted to a friend of mine that just turned 21 because I can't drink wine by myself and don't have the facilities to store the bottle after it's been opened)
Small box of godiva chocolates
Some sort of fondue cooking set (ended up going to my mother because I can't use it) from the white elephant

So I'm basically just holding on to the hats and speakers.  Everything else is being given to people that will get more use out of it.  The hats are sexy.

I didn't ask for anything (except a belt buckle) untill my parents threated to give all of my stuff to charity...while I couldn't say that was a bad thing I didn't want that to happen so I got a 360 from my parents, and I've been glued to my tv since.

My gifts
Captain America belt buckle (didn't have a belt with a removable buckle. I didn't think that one through.)
Xbox 360
GPS
Gears of War
Assassin's Creed
Bioshock
Dark Knight

I was kinda proud of the gifts I got my family.  I managed to get a Blueray player for only 150 USD(It was previously returned)...I set it up Christmas morning and it ended up being unable to read discs, but had Fantastic 4 in blue ray in it yeah (kinda).

Chances are Uber cant drink wine by himself because the drinking age in the USA is 21 (with some small variations between state to state on underaged drinking some allow it in private settings with adult supervision I believe texas is one while others make it illegal in all situations like Pennsylvania, this is because drinking age legislation is set by the state but a nation wide law was passed that made all states with a drinking age under 21 recieve 10% less road maintance funds.), and I believe he is only 18, maybe 19.

A) Wine is a social drink in my mind.  It's just better shared.  I could care less about drinking laws.

This was the reason I wanted to hear, I kind of figured your stance regarding laws. And yes, in many occasions it is a social drink, but one can always have a glass alone...

An airsoft gun, 3 cds, and a dvd copy of You Don't Mess With the Zohan. Would have been nice to get a 50ft tall statue of Zeke though. I wonder how many cars would crash driving past it while not paying attention to the road.

Amazing, but way too short. I really had a good laugh, yet I felt like the story could have been less fast-forwared. (Only 22 minutes long, for God's sake!)
