Reckless Scramble - Shifting and Moving
« on: December 14, 2008, 08:45:42 AM »
The pertinent text is this: "When a power lets you shift, you can instead choose to move that distance + 2 squares."

Is that movement still shifting? That is, do you instead shift two more squares? Or is it regular movement (of greater distance) rather than shifting?

I'm hoping it's the former, but the wording makes me worry and suspect that it's the latter.

It's regular movement, and provokes OAs.

Seconded.

Basically, it's giving you two options whereas normally you'd have one. Shift in safety, or move farther but at greater risk.
