I love Coulton's music.  Though like most others I know, I found it because of Portal.

Well, I'm quite into this little sci-fi/western show by Joss Wheddon...:P

But to be serious, I really like the Russian films "Night Watch" and "Day Watch", not hugely uncommon, but I've only met 3 people who knew what they were, and one of them was Russian.  I also liked the movie "The Station Agent", which I will assume is obscure because I had never heard of it till it flashed onto my TV screen late at night.

Musicwise I love Warren Zevon (only met one person who knew who he was, and that was the guy that introduced me to him), and Europe (people are often surprised to learn they did more than "The Final Countdown").

So I assume these are obscure-ish, or maybe I just don't talk to many people :P

Go ahead and ask my co-hosts who the biggest Zevon fan they know is. (here's a hint its me)

I saw him live 4 times, and have every CD ever released pluss several out of print casettes and live bootlegs.

I once designed an NPC around the song Renegade. ("next time I would rather break than bend") I also talked Josh's brother into running an adventure based on The Envoy.

I saw trailers for this series on my Pathfinder DvD, and want to see them.  Glad to hear that someone likes them.

Apocalyptica.
Heard about it ages ago. Videogame with angels and demons, right?
My work

Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.

Might be, but I was talking about the Finnish band.

MetallicA on cellos...

Excitable Boy was the number 8 album of 1978 (Werewolves Of London made it to #21).  If someone doesn't know Warren Zevon, it's just that they're too young...

I think most people know the name but not the majority of the catalog. Everybody knows Excitable Boy and Werewolves of London, but nobody knows Leave Monkey Alone, or Lord Byron's Luggage.

Well, I turned 19 today, so that would kind of explain why my friends don't know him :P

Gotta say my favourite is Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner, with Werewolves of London in my top 5.  On a random note, the first time I ever visited London, I was just wandering around, went into Chinatown on a whim and BAM!  There I was staring up at the majestic Lee Ho Fook.  That was a moment of serious happy right there.  I totally ate there a couple of nights later, how could I order anything but the beef chow mein?  It was really good.
