I have yet to see Motorhead listed.  Shame.

Yngwe Malmsteen + Joe Satriani + Steve Vai also = WIN

So, album of the year debate yet? I'm going for Gojira's The Way of All Flesh.

Come list and discuss things that you think are "totally freaking metal."

The Supreme List of All Things Deemed Metal:

Things that are obviously metal:
DragonForce
Disturbed
Alkaline Metals and Water (which gave me a horrible idea for a potential military weapon, I might add)
Iron Maiden
Metallica
The Laws of Metal
Mr. Dimebag Darell (in contest for hardest metal of all)
Nine-Inch Nails
Fuckyeasmium (in contest with DragonForce for hardest metal known to man)
Marilyn Manson
Stam1na
Rammstein
Killswitch Engage
In Flames

Things you probably didn't know are metal:
Bunnies! They are so damn metal, it's ridiculous (much like the back of your head).
Trogdor (not troglodytes)

I've taken the liberty of striking the things that I personally know aren't metal, and I would like to substitute them for these metal things.

Britney Spears

Children of Bodom

Necrophagist

Megadeth

Ozzy Osbourne(and Randy Rhoads)

I love dragonforce to death, but come on, man, they're nowhere near as metal as these guys are. And Dimebag darrell, I'm sorry, is not the GREATEST METAL GUITARIST EVER that people think he is, just like Jimi Hendrix and Randy Rhoads blah blah blah aren't as great as they're made out to be. They're great, but they get more attention because of the circumstances of their deaths.

I'm glad someone else sees that Dimebag is only really famous because he's dead. No one remembers Vinnie Paul or Phil or any one else in the band. Well, people who listen to Down and Superjoint Ritual remember Phil. Hellyeah is just a money job for Vinnie, seriously.

Opeth's Watershed, but I never ehard anything of Gojira, so maybe I'm biased.

don't forget MANOWAR!!!!!

That would be impossible. Manowar FTW! Still my go-to band for RPG brainstorming sessions.

That's a really chill song, Optimator. It'd be something I'd study to.

In other news, Equilibrium's Sagas CD is so on my Christmas list...

I can't wait to get it!

Unbesiegt

I love running to their music.

People usually think that I've lost my mind. I haven't lost it, I know exactly where it is: the gutter.

My body is a temple. That is why I make chocolate sacrifices in it every day.

I listen to it a lot while riding my bike around.
