Granted.  From your mighty efreeti beginnings, you're reduced to a lowly half-orc, and can no longer grant wishes.

I wish I weren't such a terrible cook.

Granted. Only, now that your prowess as a cook has skyrocketed, all of your friends become jealous and leave you to cook for one for the rest of your life.

I wish that all wishes I made, here or otherwise, could come true without adverse effects.

Granted, you now have a 0.000001% chance of one of your wishes coming true with no adverse effects.

I wish people would stop trying to break the game.

Granted....however with no one attempting to break the game, they become bored and the game falls to the wayside....

I wish I could play guitar as well as Steve Vai.

Granted, Both you and he have both your arms removed.

I wish that everything dramatic happened in well corriographed dance sequences like a Bollywood movie.
A player once asked me if there was any way to make a Tarrasque more evil... 3 sessions later he was stoned with D20s as the PC led an exidus out of the path of a Dire Tarrasque of Legendary Wonder.

Granted, but nothing dramatic happens until after you die.

I wish to be able to change anything into anything else, anywhere, anytime.

Granted, but now the all vegeretarians are sueing you.

I wish the technology for completely flawless teleportation via pads on the ground, was invented and readily available, for less than $100 and no service/license fees.

Granted, now the aliens you stole the tech from explode the planet.

I wish I had a non-exploded planet I could live on.

Granted, but the wishgranter has a hearing impediment and you get a scouter instead... which promptly explodes from being so close to a being powerful enough to grant wishes.

I wish for my power level to be over 9000.

Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

Granted, but the girls you date now have pale complexions, are slow to react, and hunger for brainz.

I wish for a working jet pack.

Granted, you forgot to secure it correctly, and it's now in orbit.

I wish for a PbP I could join.

Wish granted, they are both in your colon.

I wish that I would be granted this wish.

I wish that I would be granted this wish.

Wish granted; you now wasted your one wish wishing for a tautology. Good luck with the rest of your life.

I wish that someone would finish my dissertation for me.
