Wish Granted! Now all comic book heroes are real humans, and have all the foibles and faults that they've been given throughout their stories. Also, there are super-villains who are introduced on top of all the crap humanity already has produced. It's a net loss.

I wish that I'd had an earlier lunch today.

I wish Son of a Witch had a more concise, less rushed seeming ending, where the characters hadn't suddenly gone to shit! (sorry, I get tetchy about books I read...)
