Then again, if someone mainly visits the place to post his custom classes and such, it might take ages for him to reach the magical limit. It wouldn't be nice to be unable to boost the fu of someone who really, really knows what he is doing.

Would it be a reasonable work-around to allow those with lower than threshold numbers of posts to be allowed to e-mail a Mod to get -fu raised or lowered?
Winning an argument on the internet is like winning in the Special Olympics.  You won, but you're still retarded.

I'd say no. I've learned that people are lazy, especially when it comes to promoting someone else. Would you actually bother to boost someone's score if it took an email?

Is it possible to have a Fu score without the ability to grant or take fu?
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.

50 sounds like a reasonable threshold for being allowed both private board access and Fu use.

Considering the already placed limits on -fu use (1 point (+ or -) to each person per 24 hours...) I don't think the post count for -fu use needs to be changed. Plently of lurkers can judge gameology just fine. I do think 50 is the reasonable number for the 'hidden' boards.

Exactly and there is no reason why they should be immune to fu-fluctuation, especially positive one.

Exactly. A post count on boards, sure. On -fu, nope... We seem to agree there, Tshern :P

I'm fine with the post count limits as they are.

Of course not, they have right and wrong. Or, in most cases, Tshern's view and wrong. :P
