All setting-specific sources are disallowed by default (but can be brought in on a case-by-case basis)

Yeah, just unfortunately noticed this, must've looked over it when reading. So, for my case, will you allow Changelings and Recasters? If not that's totally fine, I can easily be a human and go straight Unseen Seer.

Changelings are in a Monster Manual, so no worries there.  Same with Warforged, Shifters, etc.  They're no longer setting-specific, since they show up in the MMs, but the Recaster, alas, IS.

Aha! So they are, MM3. But still, the only reason really be one is going to be for the Recaster, but hey, it's good to know they're an option. :wink

Nope.  There are other reasons.

At least a couple!   :wink

That's true, I agree with you there. But as for my character, it's the only reason for being one. Speaking of which, I made a Changeling Factotum using your handbook, and I found it to be very satisfying. For that sir I thank you.  :clap

Awww . . . THANKS!   :blush

Not my best work.  Almost too much you can do with that class, and it doesn't work well 'less you whip out Font of Inspiration.

It does, unlike many other classes, accomplish its stated goal though. I happen to believe that Font was a bit of closet errata after playtesting.

Possibly. It certainly came off better, once you add that feat, than at least half of the base classes out there, and probably more. It also brings something new to the table, which is a nice change from the Wizard X classes WotC got stuck on for a little.

This is the complete character. I have some of the character's background in the "other notes" section.

Pfooti, can I use some stuff from the Cityscape Web Enhancement?  Namely, the various Barbarian variants (Ferocity, Roofdweller and Skilled City Dweller).

Also, if I'm a Shifter (in MM3), can I grab a couple of shifter feats from eberron specific books as well?  Primarily I'm after Shifter Savagery and Shifter Multiattack from Races of Eberron.

I don't want to screw your game, but you lose most of these:

Yes, it would seem so;

You lose all other racial traits of your original race, including bonus feats, skill bonuses, attack bonuses, save bonuses, spell-like abilities, and so forth. Two specific instances warrant clarification.
Damn sidebar :P I dont think flight is worth losing all these racial bonuses for....

It is not worth it, or it is a damned sidebar?  :confused

I've never been fully awake after my rude awakening at 7:30am in the morning by a jackhammer after partying the night before....

Paralysis and sleep don't occur very often (at least not the games I play in) and wings allow you to avoid any monster/npc that cannot fly. flight is pure win in my eyes
