Fffsee Rrrith focuses his eyes solely on Redemption, but his ears pick up everything in the room with utter clarity.
Spot & Listen (1d20+8=10, 1d20+8=28)

Also, is there any check/way to know about the Lost and the Keepers, or should we be asking Redemption?
EDIT: Ruined it by linking to the wrong roll.

New roll:

Spot, listen. (1d20-2=1, 1d20-2=3)

Bonebreaker stares daggers at redemption. Dull, wooden daggers.
OoC question:
Am I allowed to have a vestige bound at this time? If yes, then I am bound to one, but I'm afb and I thought I'd saved the vestiges abilities on the character sheed but I did not. So I don't know which one to be bound to. I guess Leraje, but I'll have to wait to get home to see what that one does, all I remember is ricochet shot and bow proficiency.
Spot=24 Listen=14 (1d20+4=24, 1d20+4=14)

Sneakyfeet raises an eyebrow as she watches the barmaid...
Because she has freaking xray vision after rolling that Nat 20 Whoo!

"No, nothing dear. Sorry... I just... Nevermind, I'll leave you all to your meeting now. Call me or Advancing-Thunder over there if we can get you anything else."

The barmaid backs away, looking slightly embarrassed, then places her tray behind the bar before heading into the kitchen.

Redemption watches the interruption without expression before speaking again.

"Do you have any other questions?"
If you bound one before leaving, then it would be bound, yes.

And Gather Information or Knowledge(local) checks would give you more details about the Lost and the Ancestral protectors in the area, but you're all assumed to know the background info posted in the main thread.
On the subject of pay, sir. With what shall you buy our services?

OoC:
I didn't really say that I had bound one, so I guess I'll just leave that one as it is.
Can we use spoiler tags and refer to specific people who are allowed to look? I often find myself confused because I think that I'm not supposed to look at a spoiler that in fact holds information that I need. Untagged spoilers would just be OoC to clean up the posts.

Abenak has a few more words for the barmaid.
"You should concentrate more. Accidents happen, but not everyone is forgiving of them."

He resumes listening to Redemption.

Sneakyfeet, after calming down from barmaid's incident, sat back and listened casually as the group continued to discuss their future plans.

Fffsee Rrrith keeps his attention on Redemption, waiting patiently for his answers.

Verona looks confidently at her employer and speaks with the practiced ease of her clan.
It sounds like a difficult mission, both in the risk to those that undertake it and the care required to move past the Lost without causing them undo harm. While the risk to person already demands a fair price, a generous price would likely see more "discrete" results.

Diplomacy(1d20+14=20)
Not her best, but I think it hit a breakpoint. :D
The tiger looks warily at the server, but maintains most of his attention on the employer.

I'm more than willing to balance those violating the dead to their causes.  We must set right this imbalance, but discreetness is difficult.  I speak not for myself but for my companions when I say that adequate pay would be a nice piece of inspiration for said discreetness.

Redemption nods slowly at the group.

"Very valid points. Yes, we are prepared to offer eight hundred platinum for this task, over a hundred for you each. Plus, anything the more discreet of you find interesting, as long as no one ends up missing it. Any... lack of discretion... will, of course, result in lower payment.

If these terms are acceptable for you, we can begin to discuss the details."

Fffsee Rrrith nods his head in agreement. The price seems reasonable. I will stay to hear the details.

As Redemption speaks, the barmaid comes by with refills for everyone's drinks.

"At the southwest corner of the Old Capital Hill, just north of all the city's offices, you'll find the Ancestral Keepers. You must find Bremen within their ranks. Hopefully he has not yet fallen trying to control the wayward Lost. Tell him of your mission, and he will give you more up to date information about the movements of the Lost. Then you must go up the hill, through the Old Capital, to find the source of the corruption, with as little loss to the Lost as possible. Once found, report again to Bremen and myself before continuing; there is the possibility this is not just a random incident, and we must know what is causing this so as to proceed with the utmost discretion.

Rooms have been prepared for you upstairs, as venturing to the Hill at night would be quite dangerous indeed. In the morning, however, haste must be made. Each hour, the corrupt Lost grow stronger and more numerous.

I await your report with dread, and hope to see all of you again."

With that, Redemption stands and nods at everyone before heading upstairs himself, despite there being several hours of daylight left.

Fffsee Rrrith purrs audibly.  If each hour lost causes more corruption, why do we not leave immediately?  With that, he leaps off the chair, and stretches his haunches in the way only a feline can manage.
