My parents are pissed at me since it's my "right" to vote.
???

It is your "right" to vote, that is true. It is, however, not "mandatory" for you to vote. Tell your parents to urinate off. It is also your "right" not to vote for those whom you consider retards. That is why they have that little line on the ballot which says "No Confidence".

Probably more people than we have sufficient fish/bears to accomodate.

Hell if I had the choice of No Confidence I'd have been using it on a steady basis...(Ohio does have a rep for political coruption).

There is no "No Confidence" vote in my state either.

I'd vote for the green party if I knew it'd make a difference, but it won't and probably never will since this country is so blind to the environmental issues it causes.

Hey, don't worry bout it. It's what I'm doing. Might not make a difference, but hell, it didn't make a difference to vote for the major candidate who lost by that logic. So I don't worry about that. Also <insert hug>

Damn. Hope it's an interesting case, at least...

My avian trio is now down to two.

I can't help but feel really stupid and guilty about leaving his cage open all night. I was so groggy from all the cold meds that I didn't even notice the door was wide open... He was in the cage at that point, and that was all that I noticed.

I think that during some point in the night, he wandered out and ate something toxic to birdys... that combined with the cold front probably did him in.

I had to work last night so naturally, I didn't get a chance to put him back in his cage and turn on the heat lamp until I got back home at 6:30am...where I found him half-dead trying to get back into his cage. I knew he wasn't going to be alive by the time I came back from class that day: he didn't try to bite me when I picked him up.

RIP Cloud, you entertaining little shit. I don't know why you didn't like me, but I liked you. So there.

Have fun in birdy heaven with Sky. And may your days be filled with millet.

RIP Sky and Cloud: Team Keet

People usually think that I've lost my mind. I haven't lost it, I know exactly where it is: the gutter.

My body is a temple. That is why I make chocolate sacrifices in it every day.

I think I have damaged my hearing, and my left eye is starting to slip despite the fact that I'm only 25. I don't know if, or how quickly, they will get worse. As an artist, singer and huge music enthusiast, this makes me want to cry.

For what it's worth, there's a guaranteed way to get out of Jury Duty. Tell them you're a skeptic who has an interest in game theory, how people are fooled and how their memories are determined.

They'll very politely show you the door, fast, since you're basically saying 'I will be analytical of witness testimony.'

I was sad the day I went into jury duty, until, in the looking for jurors by the prosecution, they asked the question "Do any of you feel that this is a waste of time, that we shouldn't be here because drugs should be legal." I, as an honest citizen, spoke up saying, "Sir, that's two questions. But to answer you, I feel that drugs should be legal, as the use of them is no worse than alcohol, but, since they are currently illegal, being here is in no way a waste of time, as if the law was broken it needs to be upheld."

I was still promptly told that I was not wanted as a juror for the case. :D

Lol, so all I have to do is tell them the truth. Excellent. That's one obstacle to my efficiency automatically negated.

Sunic may be more abrasive than sandpaper coated in chainsaws (not that its a bad thing, he really does know what he's talking about), but just posting in this thread without warning and telling him he's an asshole which, if you knew his past experiences on WotC and Paizo is flat-out uncalled for. Never mind the insults (which are clearly 4Chan-level childish). You say people like Sunic are the bane of the internet? Try looking at your own post and telling me you are better than him.
