Arisen and new,
From the deep depths of non-use,
The thread is revived.

Jon or John we ask,
Hero of green power,
Or truths champion?

Gleemax where the brain doth lair,
Evil eats it self.
I'm new to haiku. Are words such as green promounced as one hard word, or gre-een?
When writing haiku,
Count syllables exactly
As you would say them.

Sound advice sounds good,
Perhaps perfection is,
The sound of haiku,
"No, no, don't think, Maya." Ritsuko chided. "We will not gattai the Evas or their pilots.

Haiku are fun but
Sometimes they do not make sense.
Let's optimize it!

Beautiful haiku need no,
Sense if their fu.

Your first line only
has four syllables in it
as does your last line...

You are correct, sir.
Do not optimize their sense,
Go the other way.
