Riddle Me This
« on: May 19, 2008, 02:10:30 AM »
Solve the most recent riddle. Whoever posted it should confirm the right answer by telling the person who guess it that they were correct. If you get a riddle right, post a new one so we can keep going.

I'll start us off with a fairly easy (and well-known) one:

What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?

Another fairly easy one:

Every dawn begins with me,
At dusk I'll be the first you see,
And daybreak couldn't come without
What midday centers all about.
Daises grow from me, I'm told
And when I come, I end all cold,
But in the sun I won't be found,
Yet still, each day I'll be around.

The letter "D".

Keeping in the vein of easy riddles:

Ten mens' strength
Ten mens' length
Ten men can't break me
But a young boy walks off with me
"Your STFU N00b roll fails!"
"Crap. Can I make a saving LOL?"

"I think either we have unlimited rights, or we have no rights at all. Personally, I lean toward unlimited rights. I feel, for instance, I have the right to do anything I please; but, if I do something you don't like, I think you have the right to kill me. So where you gonna find a fairer fucking deal than that?" - George Carlin

...Sidewalk?
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

To unravel me
You need a simple key,
No key that was made
By locksmith's hand,
But a key that only I
Will understand.

Always old, sometimes new, never sad, sometimes blue. Never empty, sometimes full, never pushes, always pulls.
