You're Illumian?  What was Aftercrescent's thoughts/rules on LA+1 races at first level? I must have missed it. Just curious.
If there's a level progression ala savage species style, you're good (Feral Gargun (RoS) and Varag (MM4) are good examples)
The cake is a lie.

I was more asking in regard to things that don't have a racial progression, because they only have +1 LA, and no Racial HD, such as Goliath.

let me know what you're thinking. I'm willing to work with people to come up with what bonuses you get now and what you get when you take the LA next level

That's cool.  Not that I'm changing my character.  As I said before, I was just curious.

Not sure how the new skills work.  A little potential annoyance, there, but I'll give it a shot.

New skills? Wha...?  Did I miss something?

Nevermind: I saw it in the other thread. Pathfinder skills.... :eh :wall

I'm really clueless what other feats I should take for my character...  That's probably a bad sign...

Guys, don't worry about the Pathfinder skill system. DM suggested it for his team, so unless someone here wants to suggest it and we look into it we'll just not go there. I'm more than okay with having different houserules for different groups. :wink

So what party roles have we?
I'm a Glass Cannon with a minor in Skill Monkey
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

Let us not use the heretical system then.

I think I'm going to be a general debuffer early, and should be able to bring the hammer (via undead) starting at 2nd.  I realize the debuffing is going to overlap w/ any DFA out there, but what's better than a creature that has -2 to all his stuff due to being entangled?  How about -4 to all his stuff?  Also, should work well w/ a glass cannon styled fighter.

Can provide some Kn:Arcana and Spellcraft support, but it won't be as good as on a general Wizard, as normal for Cha-based casters.

Two questions for aftercrescent:
1.  Will I be able to enter the Incanatrix PrC and/or Shadow Adept at any point?  Metamagic reducers and DC enhancers are awesome.

2.  If not, suppose I got into Unseen Seer, then gained sneak attack (via the standard two feat ToB method)... would the sneak attack advancement gained previously apply retroactively to my new sneak attack dice?  You guys might be able to see where I'm going w/ this...  Quasit familiar + Shivering Touch + Sneak Attack + Assay Spell Resistance = a bajillion dex damage.

I'll naturally be maxing out Knowledge (arcana) and Spellcraft, so you can easily concentrate on social skills, perception or whatever you want. I'll grab Knowledge (the planes) and (religion) too.

Two arcanists...hmm. Keep me in mind for spells. My real damage only comes when something is flat-footed.
In exchange for being harder to trigger I can deal than damage to anything. Even objects are susceptible, but only take half.

I gave both evocation and necromancy the boot, so there should be little to no overlapping.

Remind me what you're playing, Tshern; my mind seems to have wandered off for the moment...

I'll be having maxed ranks in Know (the Planes) at least until level 9, and probably forever.  I'll also have decent ranks in Know (Religion), Know (Local), Know (Arcana), and eventually Know (Nature), starting at 6th level.

Hellbred Cloistered Cleric 3/Warlock 2/Eldritch Disciple 4/Hellfire Warlock 3/Eld Disc 5-10/Warlock 3-4

I've got a character advice thread on him over in Min/Max.

As for the others:

I'm playing a Swash-totem Iajutsu style character.

JWO is a Dread Necro

NineInchNail hasn't replied yet

We have a very strong arcane background. We could use another melee guy, even if that's a secondary focus. If I'm the only melee then I'll start designing my second character.
