Oh sweet Tempus, what have I instigated now.
A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Pfffft. I used to be on a forum where they had a rank only for people with 20,000+ posts. They sure liked to spam...
My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
Tier 1: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything and the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.
The middle finger smilies are going to have 20 times the use rate of any other smilies

I had to carefully choose the finger smilies because there were just so many I wanted.

I'm actually not a fan of spam.  It's salty meaty goodness has it's place (like on pizza), but not all the time.

The thing I have to think about overall too in terms of how I want these boards to run is that all in all, the boards are here to talk about the podcast and if people hear about the show and listen, I don't want people who listen to come here and see that fairly normal threads are bogged down with "in jokes" or spam.

So let's keep this thread clear of the sweet tender meat and have it be about the conduct rules, mm'k?

First and foremost, know that this board is intended for mature, reasonable people.  There is swearing and topics that may offend fragile little minds.  By entering, you agree that you are ok with this type of behavior and won't hold us accountable for any hurt feelings.  If you don't like it, don't come in.

Does that mean posting "So liek i needz someonez to maek me a good char lol" Will get you banned? I`m home.

DnD classes is kind of like art. You make lots of stuff that everyone loves but aint no fun to play. This one is like getting a nude pic of Britney Spears when she was hot above your bed.  Anyone can appreciate it. Too late, it's already been done, and didn't result in a banning :P

I am all for merciless mocking of "leet" speech.

If it seems like we are getting posts from obvious, complete newbies, I'll make a newbie board and cyphon them all there.

Though this is the Brilliant Gameologists forum, so we are expecting people to have an understanding of gameology (as we define it) and to not be retards.

I'm pretty sure it is the Kingdom of Loathing forum that has the "No Asshattery" policy. Almost all policies can be boiled down to that.

I don't know, is that fair?  Maybe we should make a retard board so they can have fun too.

That's what I said... if we have tards, we need a shortbus.  A safe environment for them and for us.

Seriously though, I do NOT want to become known as a spot for asshatery or douchbaggery (yes, official terms).  So rules are loose and subjective FYI.

:lol That reminds me of Tomorrow's Nobodies (an amazing cartoon series that is sadly not being continued.) In one episode, there is a conversation with a line that goes something like this:
Hey, I used to ride a bus like that. Except mine wasn't magical... (followed by grumbling)
