Well then Beyd', I propose a little challenge of sorts.  Verra speaks in an amused voice, and her girls all start smirking.

You take your boys out in the forest, and I take my girls, we leave 2 troopers each behind to guard the fort, since 4 of us should be enough for each beastie.

First one of us who brings home the head of one of these things has the other team members obliged to give them an hour long backrub.

Is that agreeable for you, or are you not enough of a man to take it?

Captain Reynolds looks a bit confused at the banter going on, but can't help a little laugh from escaping his lips

Tylunth elbows Beyden in the ribs and mutters... "I can't decide if I'd rather win or lose this wager."

Wek'tcha clicks his mandibles in confusion. "What would rubbing my poison spines accomplish?"
(alternative text)
"Dibs on the cute one!" shouts the lithe Nubanian girl, followed by a few "awws" from the other girls (except Verra). The men exchange a few glances at each other, wondering who the "cute" one is until the Nubanian girl hops over to LingLing and begins scratching behind his ear, prompting an almost involuntary leg quiver from the little furball. LingLing gives his teammates a rather smug look as he gloats to them telepathically "That's right, LingLing gets allllll the ladies!"

Logan laughs. "Looks like the Furball is popular.

Looking to Beyden. So who's all coming? I bet you are, Captain. What about Fear or Four-arms? I know I'm itching to tear into these things. I mean, how smart could a Beast be?"

It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

Logan looks at his claws sticking out of his hands and then at the ladies. "So who wants a backrub from me?" He said, looking at Verra's team. "I'm always up for a good scrap..."
I don't think the Wolverine is your ideal choice for a backrub...
"We won't be splitting up Tylunth. Our respective teams will make opposing sweeps across the forest. Double coverage and give those beasts less time to hide if they've been moving to avoid us. I'm still not certain if they've simply been eluding us on the move of if they have a hidden lair we have yet to uncover.

Logan takes one last look at the other team, eyes stopping briefly at the Nubenian, and looks back to his captain.

"Time to head out, Fearless Leader."

"Time to earn ourselves a nice backrub." Ling Ling grins.
