Modern Back in WoTC D&D forum

I don't know if its any comfort to you but the D20 Modern Forum is now on the main page of the D&D4E forum.
In the general RPG section. Its better exposure than being burried way deep in Gleemax... :wall

Is this a sign of things to come for Modern?

What's really "impressive" is how often they go back and forth on this kind of stuff. It really does not make them look particularly professional to switch to Gleemax, drop/bury a bunch of fora, drop Gleemax, bring back a couple of fora, etc. etc.

I'd say it's a sign that they're hedging their bets on a new Modern game, but that's not indication that they'll actually make one. Spectaculars was listed at Amazon.com for quite a while, and it was total vapour-ware.

I have heard a rumor that they plan to release a Modern d20 (using the 4e rules) game in 2010... might be why they brought the forum back.

The forums themselves are never gone, just moved up to be under gleefail, and then they got moved back to under D&D and as of right now we're still sure how close they will be to 4e or SWSE

Wow, talk about dropping the ball!  Had they just kept it in the first place, I might have stayed, but as it is, I'm not likely to return.   :-\

Besides, I already have all but like 2 or 3 of the d20 Modern books!  What more do I need from them?

We need their money, they don't need ours.

I'm just merely stating that they make a crap load of money off their products, even though they aren't particularly very good.

I think you actually said the exact opposite of that:

"We need their money, they don't need ours."

How is that the exact opposite? They make an inferior product and lots of people on these forums have made fantastic homegrown stuff, we they should be selling it to them.
