[spoiler]Um, I think we're just waiting on Strat to decide Farr's fate. None of us have Disable Device, so we can't really help much. If one person aids, that's still only 19.

Of course, we haven't heard much from everyone else, as to possibly readying an action to yank Farr back if the trap goes off.[/spoiler]

As Farr went about disabling the trap, Brug readied himself to push the little guy out of the way with the 10ft pole in case the trap went off.

[spoiler=OOC]If I can't help disable a trap, I might as well try to save the person disarming from its effects. So is this allowed? Or has Farr already done his business and I'm too late...[/spoiler]

The first set of spears spring from the ground, catching Farr through the hand. Old and rusty, only some of them trigger, leaving the others in their holes. Down the hallway, more holes glisten.

Come here, squishy one. Aralaxax says, opening his chest compartment and producing a gem studded rib bone. He shakes it over the wound, which knits up somewhat.

Something about the warm light of Aralax's bone caused more fear than the trap, Farr flinches away from the bone before it touches him. "Umm ... why did Farr do that?", then catching sight of his hand, he issues a belated, "Ow."

He twitches uncomfortably before Aralax, coming to some sort of answer. "Farr is obviously not worthy of your power Master Lax. Foolish Farr must first open this trap."

[spoiler] He proceeds to ignore the group unless someone else tries to heal him and takes a 20 on the trap which gives him a 27.[/spoiler]

Grizz stands back, having leapt a little backward as the spikes hurtled toward Farr.

"Yes, yes, take your time, do not kill yourself on these rusty spines. Grizz knows more about making traps than disabling them, so I am of little use. Grizz will stand back here and hope for Farr's success!"

Iamde watches silently as Farr gets hit by several rusty spears. Surely this creature has some potential in it, for the dark energies seem to favor him above the others... If I spare him now, maybe I will obtain a powerful ally...

So when Farr has completed disabling the trap, Iamde walks up to Farr and places some of the precious dark energy inside him.

Apparently the dark energies don't like poor Farr as much as I had hoped for... let's continue to keep a close eye on him Iamde whispers to Lavres while stroking him gently over the head.[/spoiler]

Most interesting... Aralaxax muses as his companion is infused with the energy of darkness. Aralaxax then looks around to try and find a rock large enough to set off traps.

hmm, maybe these beds have recently been used, and if they haven't then I will put them to good use! Iamde says while he inspects on bed and Lavres jumps on it curiously.

As the bed is pushed over the holes in the floor, those spikes that had not yet triggered do so, launching from the holes in the wall and ceiling as well to impale the bed in a fine net of spears, completely blocking the hallway.
