Does everyone have darkvision? I don't want to spend my time walking in the light :P
Ah, so there was once life in this tunnel! We are not the first ones to explore these deep caverns... let us proceed with caution and explore the vastness of the complex.

Woo, darkvision!]
Grondor keeps a distance from his shadow infected comrade, but nods in agreement.  "Who knows what those that came before us could have left in these tunnels."

"Hmm... two ways to go, one with signs of former habitation. Much former, by the looks of it, Grizz thinks. Perhaps something is left down that way? Something shiny, or something wicked... Grizz does not know."
Darkvision? Darkvision! Also Low-light, but that's neither here nor there.
Which ever tunnel you select, Aralaxax will be happy to follow.
No Darkvision  :D
Aralaxax reaches into his chest compartment and withdraws a preserved heart set with small rubies. He seems to contemplate it for a second before a gout of flame surrounds his fist. This flame produces flames as strong as a torch, but Aralaxax also looks around for something he may light with it.

Brug gave each tunnel an appraising glance.  Unable to decide, Brug shrugged his shoulders and fell in line after Grondor, axe drawn and ready.

Farr wonders if he can learn how to pull out his heart and set it on fire from the bone man as he follows the group.
"No, no, don't think, Maya." Ritsuko chided. "We will not gattai the Evas or their pilots.

Such thoughts lead inevitably to transformation sequences."

Grizz snorts at Aralaxax's display. Hmph. The bone-man is showing off. Showing off is Grizz's job!
He then clutches his bone plating as they begin venturing down the hallway.

The tunnel descends in twists and turns, as the walls and the flooring show more and more markings of living hands, the natural walls giving way to worked stone and flattened walkways. Eventually, the descent comes to a branching point, the first a spiral column heading down deep into the earth, the other a passage that continues onwards and begins to trend upwards, although only at a very gradual slope.

"Hmm... Once again there are two ways, methinks this place to be a maze." Grizz chortles at his 'clever' rhyming.

"Grizz thinks that greater risks yield greater rewards, and the deeper down, the greater the risks one finds, yes?"

Grondor nods.  "There is nothing on the surface but the endless desert."

"Farr thinks that the travelers begin to see why Farr stayed perched in a parched dusty cave, between heat and beast better to be a slave. Still many we are, perhaps we can survive going afar."

Farr then gives the lizard thing a glance, he can rhyme to, and there can be only one comic relief!
"No, no, don't think, Maya." Ritsuko chided. "We will not gattai the Evas or their pilots.

Since Darkness is what I am, darkness I shall seek and darkness shall be victorious!
And a wise man once told me; 'In the sun there are no shadows, only the clouds darken the meadows'. So let's venture deeper into the earth to uncover the mysteries burried underneath the desert sands!

Aralaxax looks around at his companions, Where ever you wish to go is best.
This rhyming stuff is way over Aralaxax's head...

Brug threw his hands up in the air, obviously flustered. "Phaw! Too much talk, not enough walking!"
