Shifts to Fg and use  Lance of Faith on &

Lance of Faith (Wis vs Reflex): 1d20+9=22, 1d8+7=11

Talanar gains a +2 power bonus against &

Talanar jumps back into the action and calls upon arcane powers to release a shockwave amidst his foes.

[spoiler=Thunderwave]Attack and Damage vs Fort Hell Hound comes first (1d20+9=17, 1d6+6=12, 1d20+9=28, 1d6+6=12)
(Tisiphone's bonus to '&' makes it 19 vs Fort)
Luckily for me, I rolled the same on damage.  (Kinda forgot it's only one damage roll.)

If the Hell Hound is hit, he'll be moved to Gj.[/spoiler]

The ray of holy power blazes from the cleric's outstretched hand and sears into the hell hound, illuminating it JUST enough for Talanar to blast it with thunder.  Blood oozes from the hell hound's ears as the intense sound liquifies its brain.

The sight of the hell hound collapsing destroys the remaining hobgoblins morale and they make a break into the bushes.

The hobgoblins drop their weapons and run in terror from the party, having never expected to encounter this kind of resistance.  Kesk's blade skewers the hobgoblin next to him as it tries to escape into the forest, while the sole survivor manages to escape down the road.

I wonder why those hobgoblins would attack us like that.... 'Tis strange... and yeah, I don't mind the heat...

Tisiphone looks at herself looking if anything is okay, then to her friends.
